We recently purchased our home with Alana's help. Alana learns what we are looking for and is always able to provide honest opinions and technical assessment (remodel needs/cost, move-in readiness, resale value, etc.) on whether a house is going to suit our long term needs. We also viewed some off-market opportunities with her. She was responsive in scheduling appointments and accompanied us on every home tour. We've recently purchased our home in the White Oaks area of San Carlos and it would not have been possible without Alana. She came highly recommended to us by friends and we were immediately impressed by her knowledge of the market and the San Carlos area. She was patient, responsive, diligent and caring throughout our experience. Knowing we were going to likely purchase a home that would need some work, we felt like Alana really listened to what we needed/wanted in a home, while also providing the right amount of guidance and helping us see the potential of a space. Since we closed on our house, she has also been an amazing resource for us as we navigate a remodel, including connecting us with a designer that we also love. Severe pest infestation in a property that she represented; this was identified the day before we moved in which hasn't been resolved yet; she was not professional when she was asked about her lack of due diligence. We were in shock and felt deceived.

We are very grateful to Alana for helping us find and secure our new home in San Carlos. It was a complicated transaction because we needed to buy and sell houses simultaneously, and she managed both processes seamlessly. She is extremely knowledgeable of the peninsula real estate market and alerted us to houses for sale before they were listed. She knows the inner workings of house structures, materials, and codes, and explained fully the inspection reports and other documents that we reviewed. This was our first time selling a house, and she walked us through the process with reassurance and consistent communication.
