I've had the pleasure and honor of being one if Amie's clients. Her integrity in how she conducts business is above industry standards. She will represent you as a seller and a buyer with solid direction. No cutting corners at all and will stand firm in upholding industry rules and laws. Regardless of your home value or how much you can afford on a new home, you will be respected and taken care of by an incredible team of people. They just might become like family.

From beginning to end, the service we received from Amie Streater was horrible - and we paid her a premium for this - 4% instead of the standard 3%. She was a transactional broker, at best. - She started with a very high pressure sales tactic to get us to list with her - ASAP - telling us we missed the market surge and the housing market was expected to tank by mid-summer. - She never helped with any staging or even staging advice for a house that was listed for $899K. - She never followed up with any prospective buyer's agent unless they expressed interest in providing an offer. Because of this, we lost valuable insight into how our house appeared from a buyer’s perspective and we lost time because we didn’t make corrections so it would show better. - She withheld critical information from us about a realistic close date based on loan approval documents from our buyer. An unrealistic close date was scheduled which could not be met because loan documents wouldn’t be done in time. This last minute amend and extend caused us great anxiety and inconvenience because we scheduled our annual summer vacation around it and we missed part of our son’s pro Golf tournament. - For the inspection, she allowed the inspector and the buyers into our house without their agent present. (The inspector or buyers broke at least 2 things during the inspection - a cannister light and a tile around the firepit - their son broke the tile because my husband watched him do it). - When she received the inspector's report, she emailed it to us at 9:30 PM on a Friday evening - never went over it with us. - Her negotiation skills were non-existent. She wanted to accept the first offer even though it was presented to us as a "low ball" offer. Same was true with her negotiation on the objections. - When we signed the closing documents, she sat on her computer answering emails. When I hinted that I found it rude that she wasn’t giving us her full attention, she responded that she is a "multi-tasker". I outright told her that I'd like her to put her computer away and pay attention to us. She finally did, very reluctantly. We were signing documents to sell our home that we built to raise our children in, we lived in for 19+ years and we were going to pay her $35,000. The least she could do was give us her attention for 20 minutes. Finally, the last straw - the day before our closing, we lost our mover because the closing was delayed again. My husband had to move a 5000 ft^2 house with the help of only one other person (I was on business travel so I couldn't even be there - again, something I could have rescheduled if I had known an accurate close date). Amie Streater expressed empathy for the very first time in the process. She asked my husband what his favorite beverage was. He told her that if she was going to get us a closing gift, we'd prefer a gift certificate to our favorite restaurant. 2 weeksgg after closing, we finally started to get mail at our new place. I texted Amie Streater to let her know and that if she sent us something, we hadn't received it yet. Her IMMEDIATE response was a threat "Do not contact me or anyone on my team again." I responded with, “ what? what happened” and she repsonded with the same line. I never did anything to her except pay her $34,200 for the worst service ever. We have bought and sold 16 properties and this was the worst service, least knowledgeable and least trustworthy agent we have ever worked with. If you are considering selling your home in the Colorado Springs area, please do your homework about Amie Streater, Amie Streater Realty and now Engel and Voelker Realty - Colorado Springs.

Amie was fantastic to work with from start to finish in the lengthy process of selling our dream home. It was a house my family took over two years to find, and then with kids getting married and leaving to make a life of their own, it wasn't easy to part with our little corner of paradise in Black Forest, but the house that had become our home was more than we needed. Amie is very knowledgeable about the entire Colorado Springs/Denver area, and knows all the in's and out's of selling and buying process. She was always there for every call and every text -- and that was a lot over a time period that seemed like an eternity to a seller. But when it came time for an offer, Amie was a very strong advocate on our side to negotiate the best outcome and resolve the final contract details and sale price, right through to closing. Thanks you, Amie, for sticking in there with us to the very end! I would highly recommend her to all my family and friends there in Colorado!

Amie was a delight to work with. She is competent and knowledgeable about properties and the process of purchasing. Although the owner was in a different country, she was able to get forms signed quickly. I would (and have) recommend her for any real estate process.

Amie is the definition of a caring and personal real estate agent. She meets with you, listens yourmlikes/dislikes, determines your personality, and she'll find Pretty much what you want. She wants to find you the "home" you are looking for and not just a house. She will keep you informed and abreast of everything that is going on from the time you make an offer to the time you close, she stays on top of things, and keeps you journey surprise free. Amie was my agent, and she has become a friend. I highly recommend Amie, she won't let you down. She'll stick with you till you find what you want, and get you in it. ??
