I met Cameron by chance when I inquired about a home he was working as the listing agent on. While I ultimately did not purchase the home I initially contacted him about, he quickly became the person I worked with in my hunt for my future home. As a first-time home buyer and someone who rented in the city of Saint Louis for close to ten years, saying I was a little intimidated by the process of purchasing a home would be an understatement. However, Cameron accepted the challenge and made sure I was comfortable with each step of the process. He respected my budget, my time, my “must haves” and my preferred area in town. Once I found a house I really liked he was more than willing to show me the house more than once – at least four or five times before I even considered a contract. He was also more than willing to allow my dad, a contractor, to come see the house as well. I’d like to note that while he showed me the house (all the houses we looked at) he was never once pushy, impatient or hovering around me. He allowed me to check the houses out at my own pace and was ready to answer all questions and address any concerns when I presented them. Knowing he has a full-time job outside realty and has a family, I can say I was very impressed with how quickly Cameron responded to my emails/calls and how open he was with meeting me whenever was most convenient for me – he really went above and beyond! When I came to the decision that I did want to pursue purchasing the home I toured several times, he made the process of creating and signing a contract very easy, again answering all questions and addressing any concerns. Cameron did a great job of negotiating and presenting my concerns and counter offers to the sellers once the contract(s) was drawn up. Once the contract was finalized and the funding was finalized on my end I was able to close the day before Thanksgiving – just in time for the holidays! Overall the entire process from start to finish was smooth sailing with Cameron. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area looking to purchase a new home, sell their home (he did a great job presenting the house I ultimately purchased – it had been on the market for nearly a year!) or find a place to rent. He is professional, respectful and very knowledgeable of the process. A bonus is that he is local, so he is knowledgeable of the area and surrounding area. I will always refer my friends, family, clients and acquaintances to Cameron!
