I am a retired Marine Combat Veteran who happens to have a foreign name. I contacted Caroline to view a property. She immediately asked for a pre-approval letter before I could view the property. I told her that I didn't need a loan. She then asked for proof of funds. When I questioned this as earlier in the day I had viewed another property with another agent and didn't have to provide anything. She said that she had to protect herself and the seller. I told her she had a fudiciary duty to protect all parties and after the viewing if I was interested to make an offer then I would gladly exchange financial information. Nonetheless, I sent her my proof of funds (over $2 mil) and credit score 831 just to show her that I was more than qulaified to buy a $575k property. I also told her that given our exchange, I was not interested in viewing the property as I found her interaction to be insulting. Maybe it had to do with my foreign name or she was just having a bad evening. I have bought and sold many properties and never been insulted by an agent as by her. It is a shame as I liked the house and would have most probably bought it. She needs to check herself and be nicer to people who may not have common sounding names. I intend to contact her agency, Compass Real Estate and also Tennessee Real Estate Commission to file a formal complaint against her and provide the messages between us to substantiate the above incident.

Caroline helped us locate a property that suited us---over an extended period of time. Caroline's patience, attention to detail, and dedication to her profession---and to the customer is second to none. It was a pleasure working with Caroline!

My wife and I were relocating from the Northeast and I did a lot research to find a local agent. Caroline promptly returned my initial emails and the first time we spoke was July 4 - I did not want to disturb her, but she insisted my wife and I call even though it was a holiday. She was friendly, understanding, and very informative throughout the process. It was immediately apparent that we should use Caroline to represent us in our home search and I made that clear with my new employer's relo company. Caroline was patient and we really enjoyed speaking to her and touring homes with her. She gave us spot on advice about the Nashville market, neighborhoods, and how to present our offer. The first offer we made was accepted and on the terms that Caroline suggested. It was an orderly, stress-free process with Caroline and her office. She also had awesome tips about temp housing companies, restaurants, and home furnishing stores. My wife and I highly recommend Caroline and we would definitely ask her to represent us again on future home purchases/sales.

To say that Caroline went above & beyond for us in our home sale & purchase would be an understatement. Thanks to her knowledge, experience & marketing skills, we were able to sell our house for above asking price within the first 48 hours of being on the market! She then helped us navigate the purchase of our dream home & despite dealing with an extremely difficult seller & seller agent-she remained professional & was able to negotiate the purchase for under asking price. Caroline was always accessible, even well after our closing date, taking our calls & assisting with our many requests no matter the time of day (or night). She always made us feel like we were her top priority-putting our goals & needs first. I cannot say enough great things about Caroline-we wouldn't dream of buying or selling with anyone else. She will be our realtor for life :)

Caroline helped us purchase a home from out-of-state. Caroline went above and beyond to help us find the right home, and when we found one we loved she made it easy to get information and ask any questions we had about the home or neighborhood. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an agent, buying or selling!
