Cathy Brooks is just what you would want in a real estate agent. She knows what she is doing, she is appropriately aggressive, persistent and thorough. She worked hard and did not waste time. Cathy was able to do what she told me to expect. The market appraisal was accurate and the first weekend the property was listed there were several bids within $5K of the asking price. The winning offer failed as the buyer moved too slowly and eventually the sale fell through but Cathy contacted the previous offers to see if they were still interested. One of them reconfirmed their offer. She explained to me in detail the process for moving the sale from an offer to a completed sale and then moved the sale along and a couple of months later everything was complete. I do not live anywhere near Florida and we were able to do this by telephone and email.

Cathy is the top of the line as far as real estate professionals go. She was the sellers agent. Normally when I am in the market, I like to have a buyers agent working strictly for me. I once had a bad experience using the sellers agent to help me negotiate a home in Colorado. It was far from help. If it hadn't been for Cathy squeezing me into her busy schedule on a Sunday, I never would have been able to purchase the condo of my dreams. This condo was new on the market. It just hit the MLS the day before I believe, and I was sure it would sell before the weekend was over. After calling four other agents, she is the only one who would show it to me before Monday, at the earliest. That would have been too late as there was another contract pending, but hadn't yet been approved and signed by the sellers. She is honest, ethical, straight forward, and happy to go out of her way to help. Not only with advice on my offer (which was a tiny bit over the asking price), but with everything including some title problems, a contract extension, and my HOA approval application.......all the while keeping me constantly informed as to the progress and what was expected of me. Above all else, she is very knowledgeable of the local market and a pleasure to be around. I am so glad I contacted her. If any time in the future, I have any real estate business in the area, or simply need some questions answered, you can be assured I will be calling on her. She's the best! ...and I'm not kidding. Oh, by the way, I very rarely write reviews.

She answer my inquiry promptly and has been helpful in keeping me informed about new listings.. The original house I was interested in did not work out, however, she continued to send new listings as they became available. I have not been successful in finding the just right place yet, however, I would seek out her help again if I do.

Always very knowledgable, very business like, and always helpful! Cathy helped us find our retirement home long distance. Beeing three states away. Walk us through every step of the way. Would highly recommend Cathy for your next new home! Thank you Cathy!!

Very knowledgeable and helpful to my wife and I, two first-time home buyers. She was very patient with us while we were learning about everything. I would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home.
