Doug was a total professional as the agent for the sale of our rental duplex in Hayward. - From the beginning, Doug was honest. His first estimate of our sales price was a realistic one, unlike the other agent candidate who inflated the price unrealistically. - He was patient for the 9 months from joining us to the sale, as we went through tenant, travel, property improvement, and other issues that delayed the sale. - His marketing of our place was superior, from photos by a professional photographer to an effective MLS listing to managing open houses that resulted in several good offers. He was not resentful, pushy, or arrogant when we preferred our own course of action. - He was a great communicator throughout the process. He answered questions from us and responded to our requests quickly and completely. He checked in on us periodically during down times in the process, but he did not nag us. - He proactively raised issues, important options, and tasks to be completed, all with our best interests at heart. - He effectively managed the piles of forms, disclosures, and other paper work that had to be completed by us. - He managed the negotiation of contingencies wonderfully, again explaining options patiently when we sometimes disagreed on actions to take. - Sign off was easy, partly due to Doug's interaction with the title company. We felt like Doug and we were a team. Any prospective seller would do well to have Doug as their agent. Thanks, Doug.

I will try not to write a book. I live in Oregon, my mother and aunt lived in San Lorenzo Ca. They are (84 & 83), my aunt over the last year has gotten severe Dementia. I had to take over her estate as well as her health care. Doug is the type of person that went way above and beyond the duties of an Agent. He was extremely helpful and always willing to do whatever I needed to stay on top of this long distance transaction. He sorted through mail, scanned bills to me, shipped important items to me, found a home for my aunts dog and was able to close this deal for full asking price. He always gave me the feeling that he truly cared about my mom, aunt and our difficult situation. Doug is awesome!!

Doug Korb was the upmost in professionalism. My real estate sale we very difficult. I am from out of state (KY) and the house I was selling was located in (CA). Plus, the house was in a trust fund. Doug assured us that would be no problem and he is experienced in both matters. Also, the house was dilapidated, completely unlivable and literally slipping off the hill. Doug again assured us he is experienced in renovation property ( his speciality). And he was !!! He sold this property within 30 days at our asking price! I couldn't believe it. He had the paperwork sent to us , via public notary, to our home in Ky. The whole process could not of been easier. Doug korb and Remax go above and beyond the call call of duty. I used to use Century 21 in the past but since meeting Doug Korb, I will use no one but Remax. If you need to sell your home, please ask for Doug. You will not be disappointed by no means.

We found Doug thru a referral from another real estate in another state. We insisted it had to be a top notch agent because I was in a serious time crunch. We saw that Doug had many years of experience and obviously had a great track record. We went with my other agent’s recommendation and decided to give him a try. We can summarize Doug in one word: STELLAR. We were not an easy client (we were demanding) and we needed to sell fast. Doug is a clear confirmation that experience really does matter especially in the crazy real estate world in the Bay Area. He was very organized and was skillful and tactful with the offers. He handled some difficult situations for us and negotiated a purchase for us that made us very happy. He then made sure the offer stayed alive thru escrow. He was a true professional. We would highly recommend him to anyone who needs to buy or sell property. Thank You Doug!!!

Doug has sold two houses for me. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Doug sees the “big picture” and patiently, yet with much energy and excellent timing, follows up on every detail of the sale. I always felt confident that I was getting the best service ever on my house sales. I recommend Doug to family and friends, without reservation.
