Eric Hatch was recommended to me and I couldn’t be happier. Selling my Grass Valley home was a first time experience for me. Eric is very knowledgeable and was patient with all my questions and concerns. Not once did I feel like I was asking a silly question. Eric is a honest professional showing nothing but integrity. He is very prompt and the open communication was wonderful. I did not expect my home to sell as quick as it did but Eric walked me through every step. If you are looking for a real estate agent who truly cares about his clients, I highly recommend Eric Hatch.

We are so pleased that we chose Eric Hatch as our agent for selling our CA Sierra Foothills home in Penn Valley in order to relocate. He is top notch and top ranked in his field for a reason. Eric is very knowledgeable of the area and market trends. Eric was understanding and patient, kind and caring, and quickly responded to our needs and questions. His ability to use multiple media avenues to reach the public and his salesmanship made for a quick and full price sale. Very recently I purchased a home in an unfamiliar community, Grass Valley, California having move from elsewhere. Eric Hatch was and is my realtor. I am 81 years old, not nearly as quick as I once was and I also quickly realized that purchasing a home in 2024 has become a lot more complex than in 2000, the last time I did so. Initially I was understandably extremely anxious and overwhelmed but rapidly and progressively I relaxed because it immediately was clear that Eric Hatch ( who I had never met before) knew exactly what he was doing and had my interests only in mind. Because of my anxiety I was constantly calling or texting him and despite how busy he was, he usually responded immediately (and very patiently) or very soon thereafter. Eric Hatch is obviously very experienced and expert in what he is doing and at the same time is still highly energetic and enthusiastic in taking care of his clients. He was and continues to be there for me and responds immediately to my new home owner queries even after the sale has been complete. If and when I decide or need to sell my home Eric will be my realtor. Steve Drogin

Based on my work experience in the customer service industry, I do not write reviews unless I come across someone really exceptional, who I can genuinely endorse. I am happy to share the secret of just such a person with the world. Eric Hatch, a marvelous realtor, and a great advocate for his clients real estate needs. The process of buying a home can be very frustrating, long, and stressful! Eric Hatch, by far, is the person you want by your side during this time. My husband and I, made an offer on our dream home, and it was accepted. Unfortunately due to probate court, legal mistakes from the seller side, unfortunate events, and the delays from the seller, we finally closed our home this week after about 3 months. Throughout this process Eric has been calm and comforting, about each situation and confident about making our dream possible (even when we lost faith). But that's the kind of real estate professional you need by your side, who steps up and solves problems, when things go sideways. Eric took care of all the paperwork, inspections, and made the buying process much easier on us. Eric is very knowledgeable about real estate procedures, local laws, territory knowledge, home renovations, and possesses reliable contacts that can get the job done quickly and efficiently. After living most of our life in cities, Eric was excellent with his recommendations, and accurate advice for living in the foothills. He gave us advice of what constructions and renovations we should do, and regarding maintenance of acres of wooded land. He had an answer or solution for every question we could come up with, if not right at the moment, he will figure it out and get back to you. When problems and delays arose, he was prompt in informing us, and worked hard to negotiate a better deal. The best qualities about Eric is that he will be honest, straightforward, and realistic about expectations and anything during the process. He will let you know, if he doesn't think a house price is not worth it, or if it is not a good fit for you. We were really grateful for that, since sometimes you can be blinded by the beauty of a place and ignore the red flags. Eric is very courteous, calm, patient, and will keep you grounded. With all the complications that arose during our escrow process, Eric was in constant correspondence with us, the mortgage lender, the title company, and the seller's entourage, to make sure we got the best deal, and the best value. He kept the pressure going, and tried to resolve everything as quickly as he could. If we had questions, and we had a lot, he was available, or made sure someone was available to answer our questions and put our minds at ease. It was nice to have someone else who had the knowledge, experience, and skills required to maneuver in the system, while keeping your best interest at heart, and making it a less stressful and easy experience for you. That's what makes his special and different from other real estate professional. And I think he actually likes the challenges, and has fun with it! My husband and I, are truly grateful to Eric for making the dream of owning our first home together a reality. We wholeheartedly would recommend Eric Hatch to anyone. Despite being based in Auburn, he graciously traveled to the Sacramento area where I was searching. Additionally, he connected me with a reliable contractor for necessary home improvements.
