My husband & I met with Jaime as new home buyer's wanting to start the process of looking for a home. The initial meeting was brief & went well. My husband then started asking him a few basic questions regarding his work experience & overall market knowledge & he went crazy on us. We told him we wanted to purchase in Frederick County or Washington County, but according to everywhere online, Jaime hasn't sold many homes in those areas so we simply asked him for the listings so we could view market & sales prices, as everywhere online was showing his closed sales being predominantly 2 hours away from where we were interested. Jaime then texted my husband that he was offended that we didn't trust him & that we were questioning his 12 years of experience...of course we don't trust this man, we met VIA FaceTime for 30 minutes & know nothing about his experience. During our initial meeting he did not share any of this information with us, which is why we were asking afterwards. Jaime then texted my husband again saying we need to find someone else to work with & my husband ended up blocking him because he kept texting him being extremely unprofessional. Jaime then randomly texted me telling me not to contact him...literally my only contact with him was from the FaceTime meeting and I've never once called or texted him before. Jaime is extremely rude & unprofessional. He flipped out of my husband & I for asking where he works at, how long he's been in the industry, proof of his sales. Bottom line is he was caught in a lie & knew nothing about the area we wanted to move to...instead of just being honest about that, he lied, got caught, then got all defensive & freaked out. I would highly suggest to stay away from this realtor.

It is with pleasure I offer a testimonial for Mr. Jaime Pardo. Meeting him right here on Zillow when I entered the home buying process, I was able to get easily acquainted with him and comprehend his business style quickly. I expressed my desire to live in Washington, DC proper and this realtor did everything possible to get me into the DC boundaries. Because DC is a hot demographic, we viewed and toured a few properties and he explained that we had to be quite aggressive in submitting paperwork to have a chance on being accepted. Not only was Jaime very aggressive in his negotiation skills to get my offer confirmed, he remained vigilant in keeping an open line of communication with me during the entire process! He also took the time to explain everything to me very well so that I could understand, and for that I am grateful. The home buying process can become undaunting at times and to have someone willing to explain and be supportive is glorious. After I closed on my home, Jaime periodically checked in with me to ensure that I was fine and happy in my newly purchased home in Historic Anacostia, DC. What a wonderful realtor Mr. Pardo is and I can't say enough for his professional expertise and knowledge about this entire process. I can’t express how grateful we are to have had Jaime and his team find our dream home. It took a while because I am so picky :( but Jaime was always professional, dedicated, and on top of it when home came out on the market. I felt that Jaime and his team were available 24/7 because of how quickly they responded, complete offers, and finalizing paperwork. If you are looking for a dedicated realtor and need someone who knows their market he is the one for you!

Honestly I would not trust this man and his work. Seems as if he is all about money and not his clients, even though he may say otherwise. I used Jaime to buy a house in the Maryland area, and looking back on it he used my lack of knowledge when it comes to the buying a house process in his favor. I thought he knew what he was doing, but come to find out that was not necessarily true. The whole process was rushed only so he could "make a deal". I was naive in the beginning, but now I know that he is not the most suitable agent for first-time home buyers, who do not really understand the home buying process. I would not recommend.

The entire process of buying this house was almost a pleasure given the professionalism and dedication of Renee and Tod, especially in the face of a less-then-responsive seller with multiple delays. They kept us fully informed at all times, gave us excellent advice on the buying process in general and on specific negotiations for this particular house, leading to us saving over $10K on the final price & closing costs. We strongly recommend Jaime Pardo for anyone seeking to buy or sell a house in the MD / DC / Northern VA area.
