We’ve worked with John twice now in both 2022 and 2023. We worked with him as both a seller and a buyer. He is our agent for life now and we would recommend him to any family or friends in the greater Charlotte/Upstate South Carolina area that need to buy or sell. We found him by accident last year as he was willing to work weekends and was assigned to us when we inquired about listing our home. We gave him an unreasonable requirement that we needed our house under contract in 7 days or less or we wouldn’t sell. This was because we had a very tight deadline to meet if we were going to move. He said yes to the challenge and had us in contract in 6 days after listing! He even came by our home and helped prep for photos and the listing. He volunteered to work on the home to help fix some siding issues without asking for anything in return. He pushed for feedback on every single showing to see what could be improved to get us closer to an offer. He stayed in constant contact with us and the buyer’s agent throughout the process and helped in negotiating all aspects. It was a great experience. Fast forward to 2023, we used him again as a buyer’s agent. The buying process was around 5 months all-in looking at many houses in a highly competitive market that required extensive local market knowledge and great negotiation and communication skills to secure an accepted offer for us and help get us to the table. Our transaction was complicated as it was a domino effect of multiple home closings that had to happen on time in order to complete our purchase. John kept communication open with all parties including multiple agents on different homes to ensure we met deadlines. John met two contractors companies for us to obtain repair estimates and did much of the heavy lifting to take some of the added stress off that comes with buying, selling, and moving. John is a great guy personally and professionally as we’ve gotten to know each other some along the way. He has high integrity and always puts his client’s interest first. Your success is his success and that’s how we’ve seen him operate.

John combs sells homes. He sold my home faster than expected and above my asking price! Best realtor by far. You won’t find a more honest and knowledgeable realtor.

John Combs is a very thoughtful and kind man. Always has your best interest at heart. He's been living in the area for a long time now and knows it very well. Always gets new information to me on time and always reply within the day if not sooner. He will work with you to find your goals.

John orchestrated the sale of our old home, and simultaneously helped my family of 4 find THE perfect new home! He is professional, efficient, flexible and an excellent negotiator. John went above and beyond to speak with us or meet us in the evenings and during weekends to make sure that the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new home was going perfectly smooth. He took any amount of stress out of the process by being so accommodating and knowledgeable, so we were actually able to ENJOY moving! We were 100% satisfied from start to finish with John! John was the very first person to respond to us when we began our new home journey. Every time we found a listing to see we could call or text John and he would have the viewing set almost immediately. John is also very good with getting any and all documents to us to be signed quickly. He was with us when we picked out our lot and was always ready and available to inspect our new construction when we needed.
