John Dean was my agent for the recent purchase of my first home, and an absolute joy to work with from start to finish - I count myself incredibly fortunate to have had him as my agent. He was knowledgeable, tireless in his efforts to get me the best deal, and he comes with a huge network of connections for getting things done right quickly. One thing that stood out to me is the way virtually every person I spoke to - bankers, attorneys, inspectors - all asked me how I'd been put in touch with him (a random Zillow agent match, seriously!), as he was in their opinion one of the very best. My experience at every stage of this process reflects those opinions and I'd recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home in the greater Boston area.

I write this review with a deep sense of gratitude. Speaking for my spouse, my grown children, my sister and myself, I am hard-pressed to find words to adequately praise John Dean and everything he did for us as our realtor. This was the first experience selling a property for me and my immediate family. None of us knew how complicated selling a Boston condo could, and did get. Having such an ally and fighter in our corner as John Dean made us feel confident throughout the whole process, and our lives much calmer. He discovered some hidden problems lurking in the master deed of our HOA which would have come back to legally haunt us, and then he resolved them for us! Engel & Völkers is lucky to have such an agent in their stable, and any buyer or seller of real estate would be lucky to have him on their side.

John did a great job walking us through our first home buying experience. His negotiation skills are simply impressive, we found exactly what we were looking for and he made sure we got it! so glad we crossed paths!

John Dean is the very best! It took us three years to find our home and he stuck with us through it all. He was patient and very realistic about the market and trends we would likely see. Additionally, he has an expansive network of providers that are necessary for the home-buying process and beyond, and all of his recommendations were also phenomenal. I cannot imagine ever going with a different real estate agent should we sell our home and buy another in the future.

We worked with John in the past. He's a true professional. In this day and age of high interest rates and lower cash flow it pays dividends to have such a thorough and professional real estate agent to acquire an advantage in this market. John was a pleasure to work with top to bottom. We will definitely be using him in the future for all aspects of real estate.
