Karen did a great job assisting us finding exactly the home we were looking for in Steamboat. She was patient and showed us lots of options over a few months of looking, was very responsive and knowledgeable of local professionals to assist us or answer questions. We have bought and sold 4 properties in Routt County with Karen over the last decade. That alone tells you all you really need to know. Karen is knowledgeable, a tough negotiator and very responsive (text, email, phone). She showed us at least 20 properties this past year. Karen understands value and has a keen eye for issues, even with just a quick walk-through. Karen helped us spot some potential trouble houses and we did well to avoid problems in the future. Living in rural Routt County, Karen is an experienced with the special needs of rural properties like wells, septic systems, property lines, fencing, etc. Our last sale was a small ranch and her expertise was priceless. Karen consistently advised us well on pricing. She understands when to be aggressive (especially on counter-offers) and how to save money for buyers. Karen is there when you need her. When our second sold house, the critical negotiations happened early on a Sunday morning. We went from 0 offers to 2 offers and a bidding war. On our most recent sell\buy, we had counter offers to review late into the evening. Karen also isn't afraid to say that she doesn't know something and then go figure it out. Most importantly, Karen is a good and decent person. Our 2 children were really struggling with the moving process. Karen engaged them while we looked and even brought them snacks if the showing was right after school. Thank you, Karen!
