I met Michaela walking in Montford when I was staying at an airbnb nearby. We immediately connected over some shared similar experience and travels. I connected with her the next year when I became serious about moving back to the town I grew up in, Asheville. We toured at least twice and stayed in touch for three years. I found Michaela to be personable, wise about market practices and the area in general and just an all around good person. She stayed in touch with me, kept me abreast of the market and highlighted upcoming listings. In the end, I decided not to come back to NC but she had a pulse on what I wanted, which was different from what I thought I wanted originally (HA!) and was showing me the exact properties that would have fit for me. The only reason I didn't give her 5 * rating for negotiation is that we didn't actually negotiate a transaction but Michaela is a seasoned professional and I recommend her without any reservation.

Michaela Schmidlin is the best real estate agent I’ve ever worked with. She helped us sell a home in record time, she helped us buy a condo, and she coordinated both sides of these deals with efficiency and integrity. Michaela is realistic, intelligent, knows exactly what she’s doing, gives excellent advice, listens carefully, and communicates quickly and thoroughly. She worked with our schedules as out-of-towners with agility, was always prompt at appointments and in returning answers by email, text, or phone, and she managed our complicated multi-family needs with understanding. She and Firefly Realty at Keller Williams have pulled together an excellent team to make the deals move smoothly from all sides in buying and selling. She also has multiple outside services to recommend for inspections and to get estimates for repair costs for buyers and sellers. I’d recommend her wholeheartedly whether you want to buy or sell.

I met Jordan at an open house and I was immediately impressed. Even though I was not the "ideal" buyer, she sat with me and got to know me. She was simply down to earth, like talking with an old friend. After several months, I reached back out about a home I wanted to go see. She made it happen by the next day, answered all of our questions, sat with us and was very helpful.
