Lisa travels! We searched ALL over the state of Maine (the coast, the county, western Maine). Lisa always showed up on time and prepared. She pointed out things we may have missed. She looks at a property with honesty and advises the best approach based on market conditions. Top notch!

If you're looking for a one-stop-shop for your real estate purchase or sale, Lisa Smith of Acadia Realty in Ellsworth, Maine is your answer. If we had the option, we would give Lisa 10 stars out of 5!! Lisa Smith earns the highest ratings we have ever given a Realtor. My husband and I have purchased properties in multiple states. We started with several different realtors in various Maine locations. After meeting and working with Lisa, we realized she had the expertise to help us across all locations. We signed Lisa as a Buyer’s Agent, our single best decision. Lisa’s realty skills and professionalism, her work ethic, her State, local and regional knowledge, and emphasis on meeting her clients’ needs made the entire process a pleasure. She also impressed us with her technical knowledge of building construction and HVAC systems. We worked with Lisa for 9 months before finding our perfect Maine home. We were not her easiest clients. From our first meeting, she helped us narrow and refine our search. She put many hours into our home search and multiple offers, before closing on our purchase last week. Due to Covid-19, our home search became an entirely online process using Marco Polo (a first time for us) to view properties remotely from Florida. Lisa made it easy for us and we felt as though we were physically viewing the home as she went room-to-room and walked the outside of each property. Our first on-site visit to our new home took place the day before the scheduled Closing. We were delighted that the home and property perfectly matched our expectations thanks to Lisa’s thorough presentation and description of the property via Marco Polo, telephone, text and email messages. Along the way, Lisa also helped us locate all the necessary local professionals for our Inspection, Title Search, contractors, local government officials, etc.

We could not have been more impressed with Lisa when we worked with her to purchase our home in Maine. We were located in the Philadelphia area and couldn't be present for many of the inspections but Lisa always made sure that she was at the property to work with the various inspectors. When we had no idea who to hire locally, Lisa was ready to refer us to the best local talent available. She also advised us on whom to work with on the mortgage. It was a difficult transaction but Lisa handled it with the highest degree of professionalism and support. She never failed us in any of our requests. We would not be enjoying our new home if she were not our real estate agent.

She is very good. Very knowledgeable. Great personality. Excellent at her job. Would recommend her to everyone looking to buy or sell. Helped us find a camp on a lake. Took us to many places and never minded a bit.

I have bought and sold several pieces of real estate around different parts of the country using several different agents. Lisa is the by far the best agent - hardest working and most conscientious - I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She helped me purchase property in 2014 and 2017.
