I’ve had a terrible experience with this realtor. I felt they were evasive, dishonest. It felt like a lot of playing games. Not a good experience in the slightest. When I made an offer with her, she was representing both me and the seller for this property, I suspect she did not present the offer to the seller. Without any time for her to possibly have present it, She insisted I would have to go higher without even asking them. Once I had an accepted offer she claimed there was another offer that was higher after they had already accepted mine. Turns out she was too inexperienced to tell the other offer was not real because after all this she came back to me even though I told her I would not be a backup at the same price she hiked it up to without ever presenting my initial offer to the sellers.

I highly recommend Matthew and Margie as true real estate professionals. Not only are they highly knowledgeable of the market - they are absolute professionals to work with. In all respects - from sourcing repair contractors - to working with rental property clients - to sourcing the various client needs once finding a buyer - these two would get 10 stars from my husband and I. If you want your home sold or rented - you should put these two to work for you. I highly recommend and it would be my pleasure to work with them again in the future.

Matthew sold my house in Coram he was very honest and professional he sold my house very fast.I also used him to purchase my next house they were great

First time I met the Kochmans was actually Matthew alone. He seemed very honest and very knowledgeable. My house was listed on FSBO. Matthew explained his methods and again seemed extremely honest. After a few months I decided to use the Kochmans's services. I called and both Matthew and Marg came by. After explaining my situation to them in detail, they gave me information about how much my house would sell for and additional information about the loan modification I just was approved for by my financial institution. Unfortunately, the information given about the Loan Mod was absolutely false as I got the information I needed in writing from the bank's attorneys and in front of an arbitrator. Secondly the price they said my house could sell for due to surrounding sold homes was very low. And then within weeks of their visit to me, a home virtually down the block from me with far less amenities and needing tons of more work than mine, sold for $20,000 more than the Kochmans told me I could sell mine. So I continue to post my house on FSBO and I continue to get calls from prospective buyers. They decided with me not to list my home.
