I am 74 years old, and have been "buyer" and "seller" of many homes in my lifetime, but this has been the best purchase experience I have had. Melanie is masterful at her profession, and always there for you to answer any questions and guide you thorough the buying experience. Her support staff is professional, and quick to reply with any questions or needed information. Melanie and her team are hands down the best real estate team in the area. A few years ago she quickly sold my grandmother’s house after another realtor had no success doing so. When we decided to move to the area, we contacted her immediately. We were moving long distance and needed to find something quickly with how fast our home sold on the other end. Melanie was consistent with sending us listings that met our needs and was always accessible for questions as well as showings on short notice. It was a competitive market at the time that we purchased, and Melanie stayed grounded, focused and offered expert insight and advice when we needed it. She clearly explained the offer process for us in PA as it is very different from what we were used to where we lived previously, and even more importantly she patiently answered all our questions. We had one home fall through due to issues at inspection, and Melanie advised us well every step of the way so that we were able make decisions about our next steps. She was able to provide us with a recommended electrical contractor to inspect one of the homes electrical systems and even met him for the inspection because we were out of state. She went above and beyond our expectations. She is professional, kind, hardworking, patient, great at communicating and will go to bat for her clients when necessary. I would recommend her a hundred times over!

I just bought my first home and it would not have been possible without Melanie! Her knowledge, expertise, and professionalism made the entire process go smoothly and effortlessly. Melanie was always available and responded promptly, completely understood my desires and needs, and she went above and beyond her realtor duties when she held my hand through my moments of first time homeowner anxieties. Melanie and her team at Remax 1st Advantage did a great job!! She walked us through the selling process with no major issues or setbacks. The house was listed and under contract in 2 days (for full price) and closed on in under 5 weeks. Not just a pretty face and great personality... knowledgeable and professional!! Thanks to Melanie and her team!!! Definitely, will use for any future real estate transactions!!

Melanie helped me find and purchase my home and I can't say enough about her. She is THE BEST realtor in the area (as I know from my employment through the years in dealing with them). She goes beyond what any other realtor in this area does to help you and make sure YOU are happy and not just looking for the commission. She is so enthusiastic about helping people find what THEY are looking for and she is the most intelligent realtor I have ever met. Looking for a home or selling a home brings with a host of stress and emotions and Melanie makes it smooth sailing. Don't trust anyone else, hire Melanie.
