There are so many good things to say about our experiences of buying and selling a home with Nancy Chu that I’m not sure which one to start with. We first met Nancy through a recommendation of a friend, which says a lot. We bought our home with her about 5 years ago. She artfully negotiated the purchasing price down, owing to extensive repair work needed. Five years and a different housing market altogether, Nancy very strategically set the asking price of our house, when we put it on the market, to encourage market engagement, and boy did we get it! Leading up to the open house, we needed a little bit of staging, so she and her team completely arranged it. She had multiple team members supporting the open house to ensure all prospective buyers’ questions would be answered. After the open house, Nancy helped get the best offer for us. We had numerous offers, quite a few that were all cash. While this has a lot to do with the house, location, and market, it was clear that Nancy knew how to price the house to generate this interest, and that she had the experience to advocate for our interests and successfully negotiate with the various buyers. She even made sure we had a backup offer just in case. Her team ensured a smooth closing by arranging the CoO with the town AND found a home for a piano. Nancy has tons of experience, is savvy, smart, and is an incredibly capable and competent agent. Her team is staffed with knowledgable, hard working professionals who have high standards. I’m so glad we worked with Nancy because selling our house with her was flawless.

Vishal is the best! I highly recommend working with him. He was our agent when we purchased our home. His local knowledge is exceptional as he helped us navigate Montclair's (often confusing) market. He is incredibly responsive and helped us find a home we love within just 1 month, as we were working on a tight moving schedule. He also has a lot of contacts in the local area for any renovations or work that might need to be done. Highly recommended!

Theresa did an excellent job assisting us with the purchase of our home. Her experience and knowledge of the market was instrumental in determining a competitive purchasing price while the future resale value of the area. Theresa was very involved in all aspects of the closing, she was friendly, respectful, reliable,responsive and gave great advice.

We have now worked with Vishal on 4 different transactions - the purchase of my husband’s and my first home in 2022, finding a rental property for my parents in 2022, selling my parents’ home in 2023, and purchasing their condo also in 2023. I’ve leaned throughout this process that it is VERY important to have a realtor who is experienced, available, and who takes his role seriously. That is Vishal, without a doubt. He is ALWAYS accessible whenever we had questions or doubts. He did whatever was necessary to get our questions answered, sometimes even on his days off. He has some experience in construction, so was able to provide helpful insights on what repairs might be needed on a house and how much those repairs might cost. He also has a lot of years of experience working in real estate, so has a good list of referrals for lawyers, inspectors, handymen, etc, etc, should you need them. He also listened to what our priorities were and made sure they were his priorities when searching for a buyer when we were selling our parents’ home and when searching for our next homes. We could not have asked for more in a realtor.

We had a great experience working with Vishal. He is very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very responsive. He negotiated a great deal for us when purchasing our condo, and stuck right by our side through the whole process.
