I had a truly disappointing experience working with Priya Mirchandani. She rushed us to sign a lease—repeatedly contacting us over a 24-hour period—only to admit afterward that she had forgotten to have us fill out the application first. This created confusion and unnecessary stress, especially since we had already signed the lease documents she sent. After that frantic push, she went completely silent for five days. When I finally reached out, I was told that the owner decided to sign with someone else. This was shocking because she had assured us we had the house, and we’re a veteran family who trusted her word. No email, no explanation, nothing—just radio silence until I pressed for an update. I find it highly unprofessional (and potentially in violation of real estate regulations) to have clients sign a lease and then abandon them with no information or follow-up. I will be reporting this incident to the New Jersey Realtor Commission, as I believe her actions were not only unethical but possibly broke regulations governing real estate transactions. Based on my experience, I do not recommend working with Priya Mirchandani. If you value clear communication, honesty, and a smooth process, look elsewhere.

Our search for home stretched over 3 years as it spanned across Covid. Through this period we ended up kissing quite a few toads before I met Priya. The whole disappointment and frustration of having dealt with some of the known names in RE Livingston that set you up for bidding wars was history. From the day I met Priya to her actually showing me a listing we bought took about 21 days. The first one we saw with her was the one we bought. It tells you that she hears you, understands you and was able to pull off an exclusive in this market. There were times during the negotiations where we reconciled to losing the property, yet her negotiation and exemplary interpersonal skills saved the transaction. While our sellers too turned out to be excellent folks the whole transaction was a breeze even with the extended time they required before we could close. Priya knows the art of holding the deal together. She was always responsive while juggling multiple sales. The fact that she sold 3 high end homes in the same community in a matter of 4 months talks volumes. If you want to avoid frustration and instead deal with someone ethical, trustworthy and capable you need not look beyond Priya.

Priya helped us find our very first dream house. She is personable, a very good listener and she took time to really understand us. Despite additional challenges from being out of state and the pandemic times, Priya with her experience and local knowledge made the buying experience very smooth for us. For each step in the way, Priya went ABOVE and BEYOND to ease our concerns and questions. For instance, she would persistently follow up with all parties to ensure timely actions are taken. She shared with us her honest thoughts and gave us space and time to make our own decisions. She is a go getter, we would very highly recommend her.

As a first time buyer, it was an absolute pleasure working with Priya. Ours was a 1-2 year long search, trying to optimize budget, location and of course the home itself! Priya was absolutely patient with our search, and also time constraints. She was flexible with our schedules, while also managing last min cancellations. Priya is knowledgeable, and is able to tailor the search based on interests. Based on our preference, she diligently shortlisted properties. She was honest about overvalued or undervalued properties, and frequently counseled on the pros/ cons of a property. When we shortlisted, she helped us through attorneys, inspections and closing. Post-closing she made sure to follow up, and ensure that we settled in. We referred Priya to our close family as well, and the feedback has been consistently positive. Would not hesitate to recommend Priya again.
