When a parent passes, there are so many details and decisions to be made. It can be totally overwhelming. Shirley was a blessing when it came time to sell the home. She made recommendations for services that I may need and handled details like yard work and cleaners, so I wouldn’t have to. She was patient with my frequent questions and responsive to my texts and phone calls. She was compassionate and assuring; acknowledging that this was a difficult time for me. Shirley’s professionalism, communication, and calm demeanor navigated us through what could’ve been a stressful home sale process. From setting the proposed schedule on day 1 regarding thinning out, arranging inspections, broker tour, staging, Open Houses, seller disclosures, recommendations for fixing and getting rid of stuff, Shirley was there every step of the way. Shirley was great for the sale of our house. We had a lot of work to do getting it ready to sell and she coordinated all of it. The process was much easier than I expected. Every time an issue came up....she made it go away. Remarkably stress free.

Shirley was truly exceptional. I met her at a open house in the neighborhood. I was impressed with her level of knowledge and the amount of data she had about the market. It was a no-brainer for me to work with her since I was set on buying in neighborhood and I’m so thankful I did. Shirley was always available for home tours. Her responsiveness was incredible. If she didn’t pick up, she always calls back no longer than 5 minutes later. Purchased a home, she told me that going in and highlighted the concerns she had and the research she wanted to do to make sure progress was being made and I wouldn’t have to wait for a long time to move in. She did an incredible amount of information gathering about the process, status of city and county inspections, and reviewing all the non-standard documents you get when you are buying a home. The delivery of the information was straightforward: present the info and talk about pros/cons/strategy for moving forward. She really treat the situation like they are purchasing the property – they look out for you and have your best interests in mind. Shirley will work with you to make your desires a reality. Shirley is also very well versed at dealing with other real estate agents. When there were disagreements about certain verbiage in documents, Shirley was patient and worked through some tough situations without breaking a sweat. Shirley cool, calm mindset kept my anxiety low and gave me the confidence they would get the job done – and they did!
