Sue is such a pleasure to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable and someone I trust completely, when selling a home, as this is the second time I've sold a home using Sue Meservier as my selling agent. She always does her due diligence, looking at recently sold homes in the area, as well as current homes for sale and brings that information to the table so we can discuss them and figure out a good starting point on a list price. I respect her opinion and feel she always has my best interest at heart. I was super pleased with how quick the house sold and how fast the process was completed, from offer acceptance to closing date was less than 30 days. I was also just as appreciative of Sue's extra help coordinating a personal property sale between the buyer and myself, to sell some outdoor patio furniture they were interested in.

Sue suggested we list at a lower price because some of the higher comps had larger lots. She totally discredited the other amenities of our home. She put a lock box on the door but never put a key in it. Though we were not living there and everyone knew the home was vacant, she asked us to just leave to door unlocked. The day of the negotiation, we received an offer from the first showing with a short response time. Rather than remind us we were in the driver’s seat with feedback suggesting more offers were imminent, she encouraged us to respond. Had we waited just a few more hours, that offer would not have walked and more offers could have been considered. This was a sellers market but she treated it as though it was a buyers market. We depended on her for her expertise yet feel we left 5K to 15K on the table. That meant $150 to $450 for her but $4850 to $14550 to us. Finally, we were living 3 hours away for closing. We asked to do it online or remotely but she told us it couldn’t happen. Due to a night shift the night before the closing, I desperately reached out to the title company myself and within 3 minutes made arrangements that satisfied everyone without us needing to drive 6 hours for a 30 minute signing. Sue is a very nice person but we felt she really didn’t advocate for us during this process and would not recommend her.

Sue was awesome in getting me thru a difficult process, she was always available which was awesome and made me feel that my wishes and concerns really mattered to her.

Selling a house from many states away during a pandemic is not an easy task. within an hour of leaving a message on Meservier and Associates website, Sue Meservier was in touch. I told her my situation and that I was unable to get to Maine. She handled absolute everything for me from beginning to the final closing. I absolutely could not have done this without the help of her and her associates. I highly recommend Sue and her staff and would definitely use them again.
