Let me preface this by saying: I am a first-time home buyer, and I am new to Traverse City. I'm a Michigan native, who moved back in late 2020 given the chance to work remotely. It was SO refreshing to work with another Michigander! Patty is also someone who is from Michigan but has experience living in other states, so she understood my taste having spent the last 10 years of my life in Los Angeles. I wanted a California ranch style house, a large yard, and open floor plan, close to town, in an area with access to water. She was incredibly patient with me! What I really loved was her no-pressure approach, and practical perspective on real estate. Her level-headed-ness was exactly what I needed. I started the process wanting to buy a house but found myself much happier looking at property that I could build on. After looking at a dozen or so parcels, we found the location of my dream home :) And, the best thing is, Patty has built several homes herself, so she's been my go-to for building advice! I cannot recommend her enough. If you are selling your home and wanting to appeal to a broader demographic (given the influx of new people like me to Traverse City, moving from states like California, New York, etc.), her perspective and approach are spot-on.

I highly recomment Patricia Ratner as a Real Estate Agent. I felt very comfortable knowing that she always there to answer any question that I would have. She always knew just what to do. There were things that I was suppose to do and she took care of them for me. The selling of our property went very smooth. You could tell that she had the experience and knowledge of what needed to be done and followed through. We would definately have Patty as our Realator in the future.

Buying or selling a home is not for the faint of heart. Finding the right real estate agent can make all the difference. Patty Ratner is a professional real estate agent in the truest sense. Patty does not do this part-time. It is her life. Patty took us through the process of what to expect before we made an offer on a house, and she was with us every step of the way. She truly is available 24/7. Patty responded to any of our questions within 15 minutes, if not sooner. What really impressed me the most was the work she did behind the scenes like going to the town hall to request permits on any work done on the houses we were looking at. Patty actually knew more about a house then the real estate agent selling it! So, if you are looking for a professional real estate agent with a wealth of knowledge look no further than Patty Ratner. You will not be disappointed.

Patty was amazing! She sold our home in 2 weeks and stuck with us on a complicated home purchase which included multiple house tours including multiple visits to several properties to make sure we were making the right decision. She is knowledgeable about both the market and about potential renovation decisions since she has undertaken big projects herself. She is super responsive and we were in touch constantly with all the moving parts. Can't recommend her more!

Patricia Ratner was very helpful in selling our home. Since we were no longer living in the state where the house was, Patty went above and beyond to help us. We felt she was fair, honest and trustworthy. She informed us of things, such as vacant homeowners insurance, and went to our township to get papers that we did not have. I highly recommend Patricia Ratner and will recommend her to all my family and friends if they should ever need to sell their home.
