I had an amazing time working with Ron. He's extremely helpful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. He was understanding and accommodating with my time, money, and location constraints. Throughout the homebuying process, Ron's offered expert advice and tips on how to get the most out of my home. He even continues to help me with questions well after I've closed. I would definitely recommend asking Ron for his help with your home purchase.

There is nothing but good things I can say about Ron. When we were searching for a realtor, he was by far the most responsive and took the time to actually answer all of our questions. We were living in NY while looking for a house and Ron would show us houses on facetime. Then when we came out to the twin cities for a week, he showed us every house we wanted to see within our schedule. He helped us understand the process and helped us find the perfect house for us. Ron also made sure to cultivate a good relationship with the seller's agent which I think helped us secure our bid in the end when it was close. It comes down to the facts that Ron is responsive, professional, makes as much time for you as you need, makes you feel valued no matter your price point, and sticks with you throughout the entire process. I would not hesitate to recommend Ron for any home buyer.

My wife and I were buying from out of state and we were linked up with Ron based on a buyer’s agent recommendation site. Before we flew in Ron was diligent in planning what houses we could see and making sure to maximize the amount of houses we could see in our very limited time. He was incredibly willing to be flexible with his time and spent three solid days with us (including Mother’s Day). When we weren’t together and he was working on paper work he kept us updated (including at 10pm at night when we text him a question). Ron is excellent in that he doesn’t try and sugar coat a property that isn’t worth your time and money instead letting you see what you like in a house and showing you what might be inconveniences and potentially costly repairs.

Ron helped us with our home building/buying process in 2018 and we could not be happier! He helped make what could have been a stressful situation, very simple and painless. Ron helped guide us through tough decisions, informing us what features would hold value into the future and what factors to use in deciding what type of mortgage to get. He even shopped around for us looking for the best deal on closing costs which ended up making a big difference. I was a client of Ron Jensrud from The Home Buyers that recently closed on a house last month. Ron was both very accommodative and helpful throughout a home search process that (due to the hot market) took a bit longer than anticipated. Ron was very flexible in scheduling home viewings. He made himself available promptly after attractive listings would hit the MLS, knowing the advantages of acting quickly in a hot market if the home was in fact worth pursuing. When at the homes, he would provide honest and knowledgeable assessments of potential pain points or repairs. On many occasions Ron would point out certain issues with the home that I didn't notice or catch that definitely helped inform my decision on whether the home was priced right, would be too much of a headache, etc. It was very obvious after a few viewings that he doesn't pressure or influence his clients into making an offer-- in some cases it even seemed like he would act as devil's advocate if there was some aspect of the house that was so appealing it made me forget some clear negatives. Being a buyer's-only agent means that his incentives are aligned with yours, giving you the peace of mind of knowing you won't be swayed or influenced into making a poor purchase decision. You won't have to worry about Ron directing you toward his own listings, or listings of his firm/colleagues. Ron also seemed intent on saving me as much money as possible, offering financial advice or pointing out different actions I could take to save money, whether it be a couple hundred or several thousand dollars. I will definitely be calling him up the next time I'm in the market for a new home.
