When we decided to move from Kentucky to Florida, we had no idea who to contact in Florida. Our realtor in Kentucky gave us Colleen’s contact information and boy am I glad that she did. She knew there were alot of emotions with us moving 10 hours from home and made the transition as easy as possible. We spoke on the phone, she sent homes via email and even offered to do virtual walk thru of any home that we were interested in. Colleen worked with our schedule to help us find a home of our dreams. She understood the importance of us transferring as soon as possible for my husband’s job. I felt like she truly cared about us and our situation. Colleen came recommended by a friend of mine who worked with her a few years ago on purchasing their home in Fernandina Beach. Our search started during Covid, so we could only begin our search remotely. Colleen took the time then to discuss our goals, get us set up on the Keller website which was easy to use to search and mark the range of homes we were interested in considering. She helped us understand the buying process in Florida. Then when we were able to travel to Fernandina this spring, we stayed a month and worked hand in hand with Colleen on getting a good feel for the areas of the island and the real estate in each of them. We saw over 15 places while we were there! Colleen was so responsive to our timing constraints. She always made herself available to meet us at the various locations and had first hand knowledge of the areas of Amelia Island, so we were able to get a good feel for the differences. She always responded immediately to any calls or texts with questions we had which was critical given what we had hoped to achieve in a short time. And then, when our top pick became available while we were there, she was on it! She notified us immediately and was able to get us in to see the property without delay despite the dozens of inquiries. From there we put together an offer and it was Colleen's insights into the market that helped us come up with the best offer possible while offering other benefits to the sellers that helped us win the bid. Now we have a home we love! And to top it all off, she was just great to work with; totally down to earth and fun! Colleen has now helped me buy and sell a home, and I cannot thank her enough. She is extremely personable, thorough, responsive, and seemed to always be available to answer any questions. She took the stress and anxiety out of buying and selling, which is huge for me! When I felt I needed her to respond, she did! We were able to get my home sold in record time, and $50,000 over the list price! Along the way, if I ever had a concern, Colleen would almost immediately respond, day or night. She would take the time to breakdown each of my questions into bullet points and explain each one to me, both efficiently and thoroughly. Colleen was an expert at managing expectations, and was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the transaction. She also seemed to be built for the fast-paced, 24/7 nature of the real estate market. (One time, after I had merely mentioned having a potential issue with getting my lawn manicured, without saying another word, she showed up to my home for a scheduled tour hedge clippers she brought from home! She was ready to start working!) In all seriousness, Colleen seemed to know the market inside and out. She ensured I understood each next step, and that I was personally satisfied with the next steps. She is a role model professional, and I have no hesitation in recommending her to my family and friends in the future.
