What an amazing experience to work with Jenny! I’m truly in awe at how much care she put into making sure I was comfortable throughout ALL the steps in the homebuying process. Amanda helped me buy my first house earlier this year, and I went into the process knowing almost nothing. Amanda had so much patience with me and was with me every step of the way through the buying process! My partner and I first met Amanda last summer when we were starting to explore the idea of buying a house. She was professional, kind, and made us feel like we were friends (and not her business). Leaving our first meeting, Amanda gave us some homework to do including exploring mortgage lenders. Unfortunately, work got a little busy and our financial situation changed, and we didn’t follow up. Amanda stayed in touch with just the right amount of follow up and gentle encouragement ?? In one of my emails, I mentioned I was concerned about rates and a down payment and she suggested I reach out to her favorite lender just to see what my numbers looked like. Thankfully, I followed her suggestion! Amanda and I worked together to find several listings that were in my price range and had the qualities I was looking for, and I was lucky enough to find a house that I loved in just a few days. Throughout the buying process, Amanda was so helpful! She would set up inspection appointments, make sure to be at the house for inspections, and keep me looped in as she learned more about the quality of the house. When I started to worry more about the older age of the house, Amanda provided recommendations on the types of specialty inspections I might want to pursue, and how we might use the information learned to negotiate my offer with the buyers. And she helped me negotiate a great offer that reduced the cost of the house and allowed me to permanently buy down the interest rate! My partner and I have now lived in my house for 6 months and we love it. We’re working to spruce up the backyard and are enjoying making the house our own. I’m so appreciative of all of Amanda’s efforts to help me purchase my first home, and would highly recommend her to others who are looking for a amazing, local realtor! P.S. A few days before I got the keys, we had a massive storm and Amanda, unprompted, stopped by the house to make sure it was safe and standing, and sent me a bunch of pictures. WHO DOES THAT!? Amanda does!
