Jim was very easy to work with. Just a few words to describe Jim would be Helpful, Kind and Knowledgeable. Jim went out of his way to get the deal done and I would not hesitate to call him a friend after this process.

I rented a commercial space from Jim that he managed and it has turned out very well. He was very helpful in getting me the best rent that could be negotiated and I really appreciate his efforts!

Over the course of a couple of years, we looked on and off for a second home on the San Juan Islands. Jim Carroll was referred to us by a real estate agent who worked only in vacation rentals. In other words, he was referred to us by a knowledgable insider. We were glad we worked with Jim. He kept us informed of buying opportunities but never pushed us. He knows his market well. He was helpul and patient through all phases of the transaction. I would gladly recommend working with Jim.

Jim Carroll helped my husband and me buy our first house over 2 years ago, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. We already knew Jim as he had previously helped my parents buy a house. He was such a joy to work with, I knew he was the one for us. There was no one else we would have considered to be our realtor. Jim is the most amazing realtor on San Juan Island. He listened to what we wanted, wasn't pushy, and was extremeley patient with us. Most realtors are your "friend" while you're working with them and then move on to their next client and you never hear from them again. This is not the case with Jim. He continues to check in with us to see how we like our house and goes out of his way to be friendly whenever we see him. You will not be disappointed with your choice to work with Jim!

Unofficial "Ambassador of San Juan Island". Jim knows the island, the people, the real estate (homes and businesses) and his clients. With Jim, the relationship and real estate service STARTS at the sale... and continues throughout. He applies his knowledge of the client need to HELP the transition and settling in period... knows local services (water, septic, wells, renovators, etc) for referral support, and helps acclimate people to their new "island environment". <br/><br/>In a nutshell, we started out as clients... with exceptional advice and support from Jim that led to our purchasing a home, and now we are mutual friends. Jim knows the locale and the people to get the job done representing buyers and sellers of homes and businesses.
