Julie was very helpful in the process of both buying and selling a house. Very responsive, she would call my husband and I up any time she knew a house we'd be interested in seeing was open, and we'd often be one of the first inside. She always had helpful advice and went above and beyond even on some transactions she wasn't technically involved in for us. She helped us sell a house privately, with only a few showings--a big win with a kiddo, puppy, and working from home in the dead of winter!

As my family observes the one-year anniversary this month of being in our new home, I thought it would be a great time to complete this long overdue review. Julie heard from a family friend that I was planning to buy or build a new home for my kids and myself. She reached out to me and offered her assistance, but never pressured me to work with her. Julie sent me multiple options - both pre-owned and new construction. She took me to see the houses that I was interested in. She was patient with me as I was very specific on what I was looking for. And she introduced me to the builder that I initially decided to work with to build our home. Throughout the planning, construction and closing, Julie was always present, quick to respond to any questions and always willing to provide both options and things to consider. As a single father, it was great to have the support, not just with the search and contract, but providing feedback on my design choices. Where Julie was especially helpful was being the bridge between my builder and the VA lender. And when we had issues with the VA appraisal, it was her persistence that got the issue resolved, so that we could close on the home. I personally know many realtors, each very good at what they do, but Julie will always be my first recommendation to anyone looking for a realtor to buy or sell their home. She doesn't just work with you, she works for you, she guides you, and she protects you. I wouldn't be sitting in this home today if it wasn't for Julie.

Julie was on top of the job the whole time I was looking for a house. She was always looking and contacting me day and night till I found a house. She had connections that helped me throughout the whole house buying process.

Julie Dancer is an excellent realtor. Her connections in the community, knowledge and guidance through the process of both buying and selling a house is exceptional. In a hot market, you want someone who is super responsive and has strong connections so you can get the home you want. We highly recommend Julie!

Julie was instrumental in helping our family find a home to purchase when we first decided to move to Iowa City from out of the state - in a great location that we loved - and then was a fantastic help in assisting us in selling our home to new buyers who would love our house as much as we did!
