Kathryn did a great job helping us find a new house for my mom. She was super accommodating, listened to what we were looking for, and stayed on top of everything. She even let us know when new houses came in the market! I would highly recommend Kathryn to anyone in the Humboldt County area!

My wife and I were SO fortunate to work with Kim and Josh Quintal, in purchasing a primary residence in Humboldt County. We barely knew anything about Humboldt, so finding an agent intimately familiar with the locale was paramount. The Quintals sure did not let us down! Our purchase came with its fair share of challenges. Even when it looked like we might walk away, the Quintals reassured us our position was valid and we'd be reasonable to cancel! This is what you want in an agent. It's so easy to lose one's "north star" during a pressurized negotiation, and we were lucky to keep our feet on the ground by having Kim and Josh in our corner. Finally I should mention I was asking a million questions throughout the process, calling/texting/emailing at all hours, challenging contract language even of form documents, etc. But all the while the Quintals were the most supportive agents I could imagine, with prompt yet thoughtful responses to my questions and concerns. We are so happy with the purchase, and consider ourselves privileged to call the Quintals our friends and neighbors! Thanks so much!!

When our mother passed away, my sister and I made the decision to sell our family home. Fortunately, a decades-long friend had given me Kim Quintal's name and told me what a good job she had done when their family was in the same situation. Kim was so great, walking us through the whole process with clear explanations of what to expect and providing us with regular updates. She also promptly replied to any questions we had. We had several in-person meetings with her when we were in town taking care of other business but neither of us live locally so she was up to that 'challenge' and we were blessed with an almost immediate offer. Thanks for your expertise, Kim. We truly appreciate it!

Calling Kim to help sell our home turned out to be the best decision of our transition. We knew we were getting a great person on our side, but she surpassed our expectations. Upon her first visit, we already had a solid plan to sell our home. She left us with a list of tasks to focus upon and prepare our home to show. Kim knows the area very well. Her market analysis was a precise exercise in which her knowledge of the neighborhood provided insight into the our market. This resulted in a final sale above our asking price and well above our original expectations. In addition, she knew how to market our home. The pictures on our listing made us almost regret selling the place! It blew us away when Kim called just a couple days after hitting the market with a great offer on our house. We accepted and Kim was there to advise us every step of the way all the way up to closing. We put our trust in Kim and it paid off.

Kim, and her husband Josh, are personable, knowledgeable, and insightful. As someone moving in from another area, they provided us with all kinds of useful local intelligence, provided suggested reading to understand the community better, and - most importantly - helped us make the right decision on our new home. I’m looking forward to having them for neighbours soon! When it’s time to sell, we’ll have no hesitation asking them to be our listing agent.
