A majority of my experience working with Melissa was as expected in the beginning; she did a preliminary walk-through and told me what needed to be done to get my home ready for sale in her opinion and offered some friends of hers as referrals for some work she recommended like painting while she offered to help do basic cleaning while she staged her furniture at the property prior to pictures being taken for listing. Overall it all went well and wasn't too expensive on me prior to listing with all the stuff that I paid for... Throughout the middle of the transaction when offers began coming in; I should've known it was going to be a massive bias problem when she presented an offer to me stating she was going to be a double-agent. As in she was representing both myself (the seller) as well as the buyer, and tried to push it as an advantage as she knocked a fraction of her commission down to incentivize the deal. Against my better judgement I ended up accepting as I trusted her. The real problems I began having with her were from this point until settlement. We had several last minute hiccups in the deal that were super silly and could've been easily resolved by her team for items such as Propane issues with the tank gauge, strangers/contractors walking around the property for work without asking for permission for work like tree clearing, and the Realtor team drinking alcohol and leaving it in the trash cans while they were doing work on the property. This was the worst part of it for me, thinking I had a drunken team in my property potentially raising a ton of issues in my property. The end result that set me over the edge, she got her settlement check and ran out the office when I was going over a clear discrepancy on the checks that costs me a ton of money and she literally had the money put on her check instead....even though the settlement paperwork we received said otherwise. On the following calls to Melissa I've tried to make to go over my disputes with the checks, I was not answered. I felt as if I was taken advantage of by the end of this; yet it gets worse. I ended up finding out that one of the contractors she referred to do work on the property on her dime was also stiffed money on the day of settlement as well. I ended up leaving the transaction feeling very uneasy and surely won't make the same mistake twice choosing the Keller Williams team. BEWARE

Wow! What a team. Service plus. This is by far the smoothest real estate transaction of the eight homes we have purchased/sold so far. We were under a full price contract within FOUR days. We wanted to sell quickly and Melissa recommended a price point that did exactly as we needed. A plus was that it was for more than we ever expected. We moved out of state the day before our home was listed and Melissa and her team took care of everything.

Melissa has sold two of my properties in DE over past few years. Melissa is very knowledgeable of the market and extremely responsive. She is fair and honest and helped guide me on the best course of action when listing my properties. The Listing and Activity reports were very helpful to better understand prospective buyers feedback. The staging, photos, and description along with follow-up reports helped drive the sale. I came across Melissa's information when I was planning to relocate. I discussed with her my interest in renting, even though my goal was to save money to own a home. After a brief discussion about renting versus buying options, she helped me connect with a lender to get a clear understanding of my home buying power. After recieving positive feedback from the lender within minutes, my search quickly went from renting to owning. Melissa was quick to help find homes that met my criteria and needs. She went out of her way to ensure I could see homes at a convenient time for my schedule. She was able to coordinate everything smoothly, even though I lived an hour and a half away from where I was relocating. Melissa educated me along the way in the home buying process.
