We love working with Ryan! Ryan is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the real estate industry. He is forthright, on the ball and very well organized. As a home stager with have worked with many many agents over the years and Ryan stands out among all the rest. He is very helpful to his home sellers guiding them in a simple step by step manner to get their home market-ready. I highly recommend Ryan for all of your real estate needs.

I met Ryan Shimp from Engel & Völkers brokers when he was serving as the listing agent for a property that we viewed with another agent. However, during that visit I was struck by how enthusiastic he was about the home he was showing and how he clearly had the seller's best interest at heart (as he should since that was his role). As our search took over six months I ran into Ryan at several open houses. My initial positive impression of him only continued to increase with each interaction. A few months later Ryan also worked with me as my agent on a particular property where he was representing both parties. I was wary since this is a tough position to be in with the potential for conflict of interests. I was impressed that during the entire drawn out tough negotiation process he handled both sides with the utmost professionalism even when both the buyer (me!) and the sellers were acting childish (hindsight is 20/20). Ryan did everything within his power and beyond to make that deal happen. Ultimately, this particular transaction did not go through due to last minute changes from the seller's side that turned us off and made us re-evaluate what we needed in a second home. Even when this specific transaction didn't work out Ryan remained the consummate professional and wished us the very best with our continued search whether that involved him or not. He is truly an excellent agent who has a strong knowledge of the local real estate market and is willing to go the extra mile to make a deal happen. We did end up buying a property recently we had seen with a different agent a few times before we met Ryan as it was complicated to try and change agents at that point; especially since the other agent had treated us fairly. However, I would strongly recommend him for your real estate needs and would certainly consider starting with Ryan for any future needs I have with buying or selling a home in the future. Highly highly recommended!

Ryan not only sold my house, he had 4 offers for me. He knows the value of homes in different neighborhoods, so if you list with him, you will know that he has accurately appraised your home and will get you the best value. You won't sit on the market for months because your house is valued too high, and you won't sell too low. I felt like he had my back the whole process, not only when negotiating the offers, but during the inspection process and the move-out/ move-in transition. He didn't miss a detail, he answered my phone calls and texts immediately and he followed through on everything that needed to be done. I trusted him with a lot of decisions and found him pleasant and reliable at all times.

Ryan is the BEST! He helped us buy our home in July 2014 and then we used him again to sell our house in July 2016. We wouldn't consider using any other realtor. I can't say enough good things about him. I trust him with every aspect of the process and with every minute detail. I felt very confident having him on my side. He is honest and works around the clock to make his clients happy. He is well-known and well-respected in the community. I doubt I can ever find a realtor that is so good at what he does. (remainder) of this post is from the first review/purchase in 2014)...Ryan made our search and purchase of a new home a very pleasant experience. He went above and way beyond what is expected from a realtor. He understood our needs, was extremely knowledgeable of inventory in our target area and was always on top of any new listings as soon as they became available. He was patient with us as we tried to find the perfect home. He was always available and quick to respond when we needed him. He proved over and over to us that he really cared about us. He knows the market and is a great negotiator. We had complete confidence in his abilities to work on our behalf. He made things even easier for us by being there for every part of the process, even scheduling inspection/repair work and showing up for each appointment with contractors. Even after closing, Ryan shared his extensive list of sources and his eye for great design to help us transform the house we purchased into a home that reflects our style and personality. He continued to help us manage a remodel even after his "realtor job" was done. We were very impressed with Ryan. He has true passion for what he does and sincere concern for his clients. I would and will recommend him to anyone who is buying/selling a home. He is by far the best realtor we have ever had!
