Promotes as a great realtor but does absolutely NOTHING to help clients find property. Gives terrible advice on good imvestments. I missed out on a dream home and he wouldnt show the property because he felt it was bad... I saw it days later and it was beautiful and well priced. He recommended 0 homes and every home i inquired that just listed he would respond days later as it being under contract. I guess they have no time for anyone spending under 300k for a house. No problem i work for a giant staffing agency and hospital. Its easy to pass along information about good people. Or those who dont care about their clients. Never to downplay anyones services, but so people spending hard earned money bave realtors who care and go out of their way to help them FIND housing.

Buying your first home can be terrifying especially when it is over 800 miles from where you called home. My husband and I drove over 12 hours one way a couple times a week to find the perfect home. While not knowing anyone or anything about the area. We were blessed meeting Scott Mertz. He would drop everything to help us find our perfect home. After seeing tons of homes, we finally found one that we loved. Being trepidatious about the area, I didn’t want to put an offer down before viewing it again. The home went under contract and we were devastated. But Scott never gave up he kept showing us homes and kept our hopes up the entire time. Because of Scott’s diligence he saw that the contract fell through and got us in the see the home right away. After seeing the home again we placed an offer and now are living in our beautiful new home. Scott showed us so much kindness and dedication to finding our first home in a new place miles and miles away from everyone and everything we know. Because of Scott we did not feel so alone and helpless. If you are in the market for a real estate agent look no further because Scott is just the agent you want and need. Thank you again Scott for everything you have done for our family! God truly blessed us when we met you.

Very knowledgeable, responsive, and represented our interests very well. Easy to talk to and very personable. Answered all questions day, night, and weekends.

Scott is a metropolitan level realtor in a rural area. If you need to buy or sell a house in Central PA, he’s the one to contact. He was able to secure a loan, coordinate court agent sign off, and close the deal for our house while these services we shut down during covid. He is knowledgeable and well rounded with a lot of experience. If a realtor is needed, Scott should 100% be considered. I couldn’t ask for more.

Joseph helped me by my first house. Joseph was knowledgeable and thoughtful as he helped make an offer on the property. I really thank him for being Quick and responsive through the entire process. And thanks to him I now have my own house!!
