I had the absolute worst experience working with Erika. I am a single mother of 2 children, working 2 jobs and paying $426 every 4 days in a hotel room due to relocating from Michigan. I came across a townhome on Zillow that she was attached to that originally said $1450/mo. Then, after the unit we finally able to view, the amount quickly changed to $1495/mo. I was the FIRST person to tour this apartment, I spoke over the qualifications, I spoke with the “manager”, so on and so forth. Erika mentioned she would email me an application. I never received it. I emailed her, no response. I called, no answer. I text, no response. 48 hours later, she sends the application. I immediately fill out all information and processed my payment. An entire WEEK goes by, I don’t hear anything. In fact, there is no update nor does any social media attached to this apartment state that an active application was in progress. I call her again, she answers (confused) while I’m speaking. During my attempt to get an update, she then answers another call while I’m on the line and tells me she will call me back and hangs up the phone. 72 hours passes, I don’t hear anything. I call, no answer. I finally text her and tell her basically I am no longer interested due to the lack of communication, lack of knowledge of the application process, and all around misleading personality I received. When we met, she was so sweet, telling me how nice the place was, it was just renovated, etc. as soon as I pulled out the the parking lot, it was on to her next prospect to receive those application funds. Moving forward, she doesn’t CALL back, she TEXTS back with an apology that the “manager” chose another candidate and are waiting for the husbands paperwork. What an absolute JOKE. Anything she is attached to, I will never entertain again. ExP Realty too. There’s no way she’s been doing this for 20 years. Also, there’s no way what ever husband she is referring to, had placed an application before ME that arrived when the staircases wasn’t even dry yet. She was late sending my application, to allow the next person to have access before me and my children. What a sick world we live in. I’ll take my money and business elsewhere.

We were looking to buy a house in Georgia from out of state and Ms. Byer was instrumental in our success. She knew the areas we were looking at and was helpful with suggestions of other areas outside of our minimal knowledge of the area. She assisted with walkthroughs and inspections when we were unable to make the trip; she was always available by phone and email when we needed her. Bernadine Byer was a pleasure to work with - I would recommend anyone looking for a real estate professional look no further than Ms. Byer!

I have known Janell for 5 years, My husband and I have bought and sold our home through her. I have recommended her to my friends and family members who were looking to buy or rent homes. Janell is an outstanding realtor. Always available to advice and answer questions, very knowledgeable

Janell helped us through every step of the process, gave professional opinions, and made the process almost seamless!
