As a first time homeowner I was really nervous about the whole process and felt a little overwhelmed, but working with Tom and his team put every single one of those worries to bed. My wife and I never went more than a few hours without having a question answered or receiving a response pointing us to someone that would have the exact information we were looking for. Being active duty and unable to go see the home in person, their video walkthroughs were a huge relief to that stress and Tom made sure to take extra time and care to point out every detail and answer any questions we had. Using his knowledge of the area he also made sure that we were buying a good home in a good area and not just being fooled by pretty pictures online. 100% would recommend Tom and his team to anyone looking to move into the area. We worked with Erin Ward at HRVA Homes to purchase our new home build and we couldn’t be happier. She was extremely knowledgeable about the local market of builders and she guided us through each step, making sure we understood everything. Erin Ward is your dream real estate agent! After our initial visit with her she convinced us within minutes. She came prepared with a stunning presentation and expectations for the sale of my home. It was my first sale and I was nervous but she took away all of my worries. It was the easiest process I have ever dealt with in every aspect of my life. The team that she hired to do video and photos of my home made me a proud homeowner after 4 years of remodeling and home improvements. It was a difficult process for me the past 4 years but she made it to where I felt like my hard work finally paid off. Everything got done within 24 hours (more like 8 hours). Responds to you instantly within 30 minutes. She works 7 days a week and it shows. She sold our house for $20k more than what we expected. Everything just seemed to fall into place. I initially dealt with 3 other agents and they all made me feel worried. But not Erin. I can go on and on and do nothing but brag about her I just hope that you choose her so that you can do the same. Definitely recommending HRVA homes specifically Erin Ward to all my friends, family and fellow military service members. If I get stationed back in Virginia I refuse to use anyone else and will pull her out of retirement if that is the case! Erin Ward is quite possibly the best agent ever. I unknowingly at the time got burned when I bought my house (different agent) and just screwed all around. I listed my house with another agent on the market and after 40 days on the market, no offers, and only 3 showings. I switched to Erin Ward and in the first week I had like 10 showings and received 3 offers. We got under contract and she was literally my rock. Everything that could go wrong selling my house did go wrong and it was a tearful and stressful process but she got me through it. She was beyond helpful. After the horrible experience I had buying my first home and everything that went wrong owning it, I didn’t think I’d ever want to own a house again; but after working with Erin, I’m open to trying again in the future. If I would have used her in buying my house I could have saved myself a lot of heartache. If you need a good real estate agent or like a guardian angel then definitely hire Erin Ward.
