Jennifer was terrific to work with. She represented the seller when we bought our condo several years ago, and we were so pleased with how she treated us as buyers that we chose to work with her when we sold it a few years later. She was knowledgeable, smart, and attentive, and did so many little things to make the selling process a smooth one for us. And she got us our hoped-for price!

Jennifer is the consummate real estate agent and client advocate.  In our initial conversation, she arrived thoroughly prepared and provided comp numbers and a clear set of steps to a successful sale.  Her depth of knowledge of the market in Old Town Alexandria was the basis for an aggressive asking price.  She laid out the path to a successful sale with a clear strategic approach, recommendations about what changes to the house would make a difference, how the house should be staged, and when to get the house on the market.  During the preparation of the house, she also provided several resources for moving, painting, tiling, etc, which helped streamline the needed work.    Laying this groundwork was key to signing a contract after only two days on the market and with a bid over the asking price.  Selling a house can be stressful and challenging; working with Jennifer was not only easy, it was a great experience. She communicated clearly and often.  Jennifer is an exceptional professional and delivers both the sale and a great experience at the same time.

We were first time home buyers looking in the Northern VA area (Alexandria, Falls Church, Vienna, Annandale, Springfield). We immediately went with Jennifer after interviewing her and she exceeded our expectations. The home buying process for us went very quickly, but we never felt rushed or pressured by her to pull the trigger on any property. She was extremely helpful in pointing things out to us when narrowing our search. We were able to narrow our search quickly and eliminate properties we were initially very interested in before wasting precious time with a walkthrough due to dealbreakers that were obvious to her but not so obvious to us until pointed out. This was also extremely helpful in walkthroughs where she pointed out major issues that we wouldn’t have noticed, preventing us from making a choice that we would have certainly regretted. It made us ultimately super confident to eagerly put down an offer when we did find the home that we did fall in love with. She was also very helpful throughout the closing process in taking care of all of the details without any burden on us. Everything went off without a hitch and immediately, well before any deadlines in our contracts. She put us in touch with a particular inspector that she recommends for 1st time home buyers. This aspect was extremely helpful! He walked us through every part of an very thorough inspection in which we learned a TON about our future house (basically a short course on home care that we desperately needed). Based on a lot of our friends who have been through the house buying process in this area and have had less than stellar experiences with their realtors, we know how important having a great realtor is to the house buying process. We couldn’t recommend Jennifer more! We look back and realize how freaking easy and stress free our house buying experience was when all we have heard from others is how awful the process is. We look forward to working with her in the future!

Jennifer was wonderful to work with as a first time home buyer - incredibly responsive, very knowledgable of the local market conditions, and ultimately helped us buy our dream home!
