Jill represented my wife and I when we were looking at one particular house in Springfield, Vermont. A local attorney referred her to us. Jill was incredible. She worked diligently to get us all the information we needed to make a decision, and worked hard to negotiate the best deal for us. In the end, we didn’t move forward with the purchase because Jill helped us discover some things we were unaware of about the house. This was greatly appreciated, because in my buying experience, I have worked with agents who I thought were working on my behalf, but instead hid negative things about houses they were helping me with, and even colluded with sellers agents to inflate the price to get me to overpay, and hence higher commissions for both agents. I never had to worry about that with Jill. I would highly recommend hiring Jill as a buyers agent, and I’m sure she is equally good as a sellers agent. She is honest, detail-oriented, hard-working and simplifies the process of making that big decision on buying a house.

I met Jill Lawrence in the summer of 2022 as I wished to sell a home in Ludlow VT. I interviewed 3 realtors from different companies, and was struck by the straight forward and realistic presentation by Jill. There were many hoops to jump through, as interest rates rose and doomsday predictions about the real estate market were all over the news. Yet Jill kept an upbeat and optimistic outlook. She did find a buyer, and there were more hoops as we had issues with the inspection and obtaining a CO. All through the process Jill was super communicative and helpful. Whether you are buying or selling, I highly recommend Jill Lawrence.

Jill is absolutely the best real estate agent I have ever worked with in my time of buying homes and land (and I have worked with several). She is detail-oriented, highly responsive, friendly, expert in her field and consistently a joy! If you are looking for a phenomenal realtor, Jill Lawrence is a great choice! You will not be disappointed with her assistance!

Jill's energy, positive attitude, knowledge, and New England common sense were exactly what we needed to successfully buy our home. It wasn't hard for us to pick out the house we wanted, but the wrinkles came in because we were moving back to the US after many years of living overseas. That meant finding not just a realtor, but also a lender and a lawyer and others who would do everything by "remote control", after one of us made a very quick house-hunting trip. Jill organized everything step-by-step, and was especially helpful with the negotiations with the seller in this volatile market. We are experienced homebuyers and we thought Jill was fantastic, and we think her ability to break the complicated process down into its parts would be even more valuable to a first-time buyer.

Jill was great to work with at every phase of the process. The home I bought was not very expensive, meaning that her commission wasn't huge, and it had several tricky things to navigate, including several rounds of back-and-forth negotiations and some tenants that would not allow access for an inspection for a while. Neither of these slowed her down. At every phase Jill was available to communicate, her judgment was sound, her skills at whipping up docs and addenda to docu-sign were deft, and she was always pleasant and joyful to talk to. After dealing with some Rutland realtors who couldn't be bothered to call back, Jill was a real breath of fresh Vermont air! I recommend her highly and hope her career thrives, as she deserves it.
