Thank you so much Latashia Perry, for all of your help! We are so grateful for all of the hard work you've done to not only help search for our home, but you also assisted with connecting us with a good mortgage lender. I had moments of feeling frustrated, and hopeless, but you were always so patient, and reassuring that we would find our dream home. We are endlessly grateful to have you as our agent and couldn't be happier with the way everything worked out.

Ok, first off, Latashia’s perfect score is not a ruse! She truly is perfection. We were assigned Latashia while casually browsing houses for an eventual move to Oakland from NYC. We figured: let’s see what it’s like, learn a few things, and then get serious about buying after we move. Zillow put us in touch with her on a Friday to get time to see a house we were curious about in El Cerrito, and at the same time I reached out to the seller on my own. We heard from her before the seller, and from the start I was very surprised at how willing she was to meet with us, two new-to-market first time homebuyers, to show us the house on such short notice. At the property, she could not have been more helpful, advising us on the high level steps of home buying and giving us tips on what to look for, as well as sharing her thoughts on the home we were touring. She explained what home disclosures were (Aw, we were so young and naive!) and offered to obtain the home disclosures for us. When we casually mentioned a couple open houses we were planning to hit the following day, she offered to get us those disclosures too. That was a savvy move that was a clincher for us, because she really perceived what we wanted/needed and was able to deliver. That Saturday, she helped us prioritize open houses we wanted to see based on our budget, and then she stuck with us at every location; it was a full day, probably about 6 hours of house-viewing. We did not even ask her to do this (as a millennial, I feel extremely guilty!), and we were clear that we didn’t expect to find “the one” that day—but she did it anyway, and her insight at every step and every house was invaluable. We were grateful for every minute of her presence. But even more impressive was the work she did behind the scenes. While we were touring the houses, screaming about clawfoot bathtubs or mid century masonry, she connected with every agent and seller on each property and collected valuable info: expected selling price, what the neighborhood is like, when offers are due, and more—basically, nothing we would have known to ask. She even made a contact with a loan officer. Midway through the day, we toured a dream house in our budget. We were skeptical: I had originally sent the original listing dismissively, mainly sharing it because I had loved how it looked, and was surprised when she thought it would be worth a visit. It was a Victorian home in Oakland allegedly within our sub-million budget, so we assumed the worst (was it a secret portal to the underworld? Did the walls bleed at midnight? WHAT WAS THE CATCH). But! after a joint disclosure review, she counseled us to act if we wanted it. By that time, she had more than earned our trust, and we took the plunge. After all of that in three days, we flew home. That’s when I heard back from the seller on the first home we looked at. NOW LET ME TELL YOU! Latashia was just as supportive throughout the buying process, educating us, working directly with the other teams (including the loan officer she had made a contact with at a different house), and generally continuing to overdeliver in every conceivable way. Honestly, she did so much work, she made me feel lazy. I would elaborate more, but I felt very much like a child being led by the hand by a trusted adult; I think she could probably tell you more about how it went than I could. TL;DR. The house we never would have thought possible is ours, and it never would have happened had we not met Latashia!

Latashia is FANTASTIC!!! She is easy to work with, she knows the industry inside and out, and she will get you answers when you need them. She is proactive and anticipates your questions, which is important, because sometimes you don't know what you need to know. She knows what you need to know. Latashia understands her market (currently the East Bay), and gives expert advice based on her experience and and knowledge. We trusted Latashia and she delivered again and again. We give her our highest recommendation.

Latashia Perry, words cannot explain the process she committed to with help purchase our first home. Through every hurdle she was there advocating for the deal to be completed. Very responsive took accountability for action items to get things handled promptly. Very grateful to have worked with her cannot wait until the next deal.

As a first time home buyer it was great to have a realtor like Latashia representing us. She went above and beyond advocating for us.
