If you're planning a move in NYC, I highly recommend working with Bohdana at Rachel Realty. My experience with her was nothing short of exceptional. She shepherded me through the process of finding and getting my dream apartment in just 3 days. Her expertise and support, and sense of humor were invaluable in the process. She helped me find the perfect apartment, however, in the (unlikely) event I move again, I would use her in a heartbeat!

Very unprofessional - had a scheduled apartment tour with Rachel Realty broker Cristina and she never showed up. Another broker, Adam, was showing other apartments and informed me the scheduled apartment was no longer available. Cristina failed to inform me of this and I showed up for our appointment to see it. This is extremely unprofessional and shows clearly poor communication and lack of simple consideration for prospective renters’ time in this already hectic market where every minute spent counts.

Never work with Rachel Reality. We tried to rent an apartment through them on 86th street and, over the course of almost a month, they lied to us both in person and in writing multiple times to draw out the process so they could get higher offers. We had been warned about working with Rachel Realty by friends we have in the industry but we loved the apartment and we wanted to give them a shot. We were nothing but fair and transparent throughout the entire process, their team was not. We wish they had just been honest with us so that we didn't lose weeks in our process. Our daughter is starting a new school in September and we were trying to finalize a deal by June in order to get our family settled over the summer. We even spent money to bring in contractors and were told we had a deal. They went as far as to give us a lease to sign, with a move-in date, and then just ghosted us as they were negotiating something else behind our backs. They will use you as a pawn and not even have the courage to tell you. Stay away at all all costs.

We were so fortunate to have found Rachel when we moved to New York. As our Realtor, she helped us find the right home in the right neighborhood for the right price. She was patient and cautioned us about making unreasonable offers when we fell too quickly for overpriced homes. In short, she was always on our side working to make our home purchase as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with Rachel was that she was always more focused on answering our questions, giving us good advice, and finding homes that met our needs than she was on closing a deal. We would recommend her to anyone.
