Through Raquel we recently sold our waterfront home on the York River. Although the process seemed long due to unforeseen issues, Raquel’s quick responsiveness assured us. Raquel made the home buying process so much easier! She was very pleasant to work with. She was specifically excellent at staying in contact with us, and getting answers very fast. We ended up looking at many houses in search of the "perfect" home, and in the midst of that, Raquel was always patient and listened to our desires. She always gave us suggestions based on what she learned we liked. In the end, she suggested a home that we hadn't even considered. It was perfectly suited to what we wanted, with even more space and land that we thought we could get with our budget. It was perfect and we ended up buying it! So we definitely recommend Raquel, because without her we'd probably still be searching, or we'd be in a home we didn't really like.

Racquet helped us find the perfect home. We were commuting from Richmond and needed to take our time to know the area and find just the right place. She help us us research multiple properties for unique attributes associated with the coastal environment. She was very patient and helpful. My girls tagged along for much of the process and they both loved Raquel!

My wife and I were selling our home, and we had three buyers from hell. Raquel helped keep us sane during the process. Raquel had boatloads of showings lined up from the get-go. We were under contract within a week. However, after the inspection the buyer wanted us to replace the entire roof unnecessarily. We said no, and the buyer walked. Raquel was all over it: within an hour she had two new showings scheduled for that afternoon, which helped my wife and I keep our mind off the fact that we were back to square one. That evening we were under contract again with a new buyer. Buyer two also ended up being flaky, for no reason. She seemed to get buyer's remorse, and Raquel was great at handling the negotiations. The buyer ended up walking over minor things, which even caused her agent to need to drop her as a client. It was nuts. How did we get such awful buyers? We had a third buyer within another week. Everything went smoothly, inspection was fine. The only major thing they requested was that we replace the back door (which didn't need replacing, but hey, fine). Well guess what: when it came time for the buyer to close, THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP TO CLOSING. Their agent scrambled to try to get in touch with them, and when they finally picked up the phone they said they weren't happy with the work done on the back door, that they wanted to bring in new contractors and rip up the floors and look at the surrounding area. It was nuts. Raquel did a fantastic job of putting her foot down for us, insisting that we had done everything they had asked and that they were being unreasonable. Finally they showed up and signed the papers. Selling our home was one of the most stressful events of our lives, and Raquel made the entire process far smoother than it otherwise would have been. Without her there to keep us calm and explain everything we probably would have burned our house to the ground in frustration! We highly recommend her as a listing agent for anyone selling their home.
