I was very hesitant and leery going into buying a home. I’m all about over communicating and being there when the need arises with questions snd worries. Steve (the whole office really) was always there and picked up when I called. Always reassuring and very knowledgeable with terminology ( cause who speaks realtor). We are now in our forever home in the exact area we wanted to be in. I can’t speak any higher of Steve and the John L Scott team. You won’t go wrong picking this team.

We purchased a home we have been renting for years. While I liked our agent, I felt the first time home buying experience was fairly negative. While friends were purchasing their homes, negotiations were made for better deals etc. We never once made a service call while renting and opted to pay to fix things on our own over the years. We replaced a broken dishwasher, re-graveled the driveway, fixed a faucet that broke from old age, had the garage door serviced, touched up trim paint, had bad outlets replaced, etc. The one ask we asked was a flooring allowance for the worn out laminant and carpet, but that was not considered. Our "gift" was a paid fee that the seller was supposed to pay per our signed contract anyways, so it was not really a gift. Not even a cheap thank you or congrats on your new home card was sent. I was going to just let it all go, but was asked for this review, and as much as it would please me to rave about how great buying our first home was, I do not feel that way. Perhaps the experience would have been better under different circumstances. I wish other people a more pleasant experience. If you are selling, these would be the agents for you.

Steve and John L Scott were very helpful with us living so far away. They managed our property for years and very informative when we were ready to sell. We were always kept informed and didn’t have any stress through the entire sale of our house.

It was my pleasure working with Charlene at John L Scott. She helped me in the sale of my house and a purchase of my new home. Charlene was always there to answer my questions and give her support in making the house deals. As far as I'm concerned Charlene I made the rite choice in using John L Scott for my purchase and sale. I would highly recommend Charlene and her firm to anyone in need of there service. You wont be disappointed.

We had to do a short sale, and John L Scott was very knowledgable. Steve did a great job navigating with the bank, helping with staging ideas, and there was great communication the whole time. I would recommend them for standard sales as well.
