Great Agent Carol was wonderful. We had several criteria in purchasing a home and she always kept those a priority. She followed up with all the necessary paperwork on a timely basis and nothing fell through the cracks. We highly recommend her and she will be our agent again if/when we buy/sell again.

Buying your first home can be a very stressful process. But it's a lot easier when you know you are in competent and capable hands, which is how I felt working with Carol Sawdey. Not only was she attentive and thoughtful in her communications and guidance, but also she was incredibly trustworthy and quick. We had very timely answers to our questions and her knowledge of the market and experience helped us make the most informed decisions for our needs. I had met with several realtors before deciding to work with Carol and she was the most trustworthy, professional, and caring agent. I am so grateful to her and highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell real estate.

Carol is the best of the best! We loved working with her. Buying at the back end of the COVID pandemic was so tough and we were glad to have Carol by our side. She is knowledgeable, kind, negotiates like crazy and is full service. She has helped us SO much not only with our home purchase and closing the deals, but also with everything since then. Carol has great knowledge of the market, is well connected, well liked and overall just high service. Carol is super detailed and pays very close attention to all things about homes including disclosures, and the things that most people do not think to look for. We were relocating from out of state and were first time home buyers in California and in the Bay Area, and Carol took the time to really educate us on the market, expectations and working through the things we should really pay close attention to. We were super picky homebuyers because we had a vision of what we wanted our time in California to look like, and Carol very carefully helped us bring that vision to life. Through our transaction Carol built a really strong relationship with us and we have become personal friends with her and her entire family since that time. Given we do not have any family in California, Carol has been so gracious to really include us as her own family and we are so grateful. Carol is amazing - we loved working with her. Carol helped us with buying our home at the height of the market. She was a great communicator and negotiator as well as had a thorough knowledge the current market. She made the process simple and we appreciated her patience and expertise as we navigated through the bidding process. Her insight was extremely valuable to us. We doubt we would be living in our beautiful home without her assistance.

Carol failed to meet the minimum standard of care when representing us on the sale of our San Ramon house in July 2022. She copy/pasted the 2016 listing without our knowledge and included that as the current listing. The buyers used this shoddy work to come after us for money after the close of sale. Carol and Berkshire Hathaway declined to participate in mediation abandoning us after reaping their commission. Terrible ethics for both agent and her boss at Berkshire Hathaway.
