Craig just represented our group of siblings in the sale of a set of flats in the Richmond district. He was very well prepared, patient with our fractious group, and was very valuable in keeping the sale going when an unforeseen legal snafu (not of his or our making) threatened the sale. Very glad that he was recommended to us and would use him again happily.

Craig helped us find and purchase our house in Novato, CA. He was very hardworking and always available. We had a lot of questions and follow ups in researching the details of the house, and Craig worked very diligently to follow up on our requests, connect us with the right people to inspect the house, getting us whatever information possible to answer our questions. He went above and beyond connecting us with neighbors to tell us about living in the area. He was there for us every step of the way, and we are so happy to be living where we are now!

I worked with Craig and his team to buy my house in the Sunset District in San Francisco and had a great experience. He is incredibly hard working and puts in a ton of effort when the clock is ticking and you are preparing to meet an offer date. In terms of knowledge of San Francisco and the market is very good. He has very good intuition of price and in our limited sample set he was right on. Finally he is only looking for your best interest and is completely patient. He has no problem telling you to pass on a house even when you might think its a good idea even if it might result in a sale for him. Overall a great guy and if you use him once he will be with you forever and happy to consult with you on anything. Highly recommended!

Craig Ackerman was quite professional and is an exceptional salesman. He sold the condominium at the Hamilton in San Francisco within 3 weeks and I was very surprised since the market was not at its peak at that time. He gave a very clear and compelling presentation from Proof Realty that really sold me on the service, so I naturally chose him over all the other realtors I spoke to.

Where to even begin? I had been searching for a condo on and off for at LEAST 3 years with a different realtor, and threw in the towel a number of times to regain some temporary sanity and cling to whatever remnants of dignity I had left. As a single person, it was nearly impossible to compete against dual-income households (both often tech workers commanding salaries far beyond my grasp) and despite offering significantly over asking, I was defeated each time. When interest rates began creeping up, I thought perhaps now was the time for me to make my “last stand” and chose Craig as a realtor based on the number of online reviews of others waxing poetic about him. I’m here to say, without a shadow of a doubt, that the reviews are entirely deserved. This man/guru got me into the first home that we offered on together, and with his guidance, I somehow (seriously, HOW??) did not overpay, as I learned during the appraisal that the next offer was only 3% lower. I won’t go into details on the offer process, which was a bit tedious due to the seller/listing agent (though it was nobody’s fault). Suffice it to say that Craig shepherded me through a tricky time and on top of it, cobbled together last-minute a veritable dream team with his lender. I had an unmissable work trip out of the country that was two weeks after my offer was accepted, meaning all of the loan documents and appraisals had to be done, like, yesterday. I’ve never in my life heard of what amounted to a 14 day closing with a loan. Seamless? Check. Communicative? Yes. Above and beyond? Double check. I thought that after closing, he’d be gone but nope, the man is amazing and continues to provide me endless referrals (and email connections) for vendors I’ll need to update the condo. You will never find a better realtor, and if he’s still in the area and I ever manage to try my luck with a larger place, you can bet he will be the only call I make.
