We are so happy with went with Howe when we decided to sell our home and purchase a new one. It was difficult and stressful process and he was always available to answer questions and ease concerns. He does so with patience and kindness as well (as I'm sure I sent him a good deal of panicked messages). The knowledge and skills in negotiating are superb and he was always able to come up with a strategy and reasons behind action when making offers and reviewing offers. And he did so without being dismissive of our input and carefully explained everything. Also, he is incredibly knowledgable as well--pointing out and explaining features not just in our home we sold but when viewing other homes when the seller's realtor could not explain things. Both realtors (from the house we purchased and from the couple who bought the home we sold) were very impressed and told me how amazing they thought our realtor was. Highly recommend and if I ever was to go through this process again I would 100% contact Howe Allen!

The first time I worked with Howe he sold a house for me. That was a five star experience so I had no hesitation contacting him again to help me buy a house this time. Again, absolutely first class service and attention to detail from start to finish. Howe make things easy. Takes all the stress out of the transaction and continually provided accurate and honest guidance throughout. He’s someone you can trust implicitly and he’ll get you the very best out of your transaction. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Howe Allen as your next real estate agent, whether buying or selling, he’s first class all the way.

We had a really great experience selling our home with Howe Allen Realty. Before selecting a realtor I looked at who in the area had the most recent sales, and which realtors were getting close to asking price on their listings. I saw several recent sales by Howe Allen and all were within a few percent of asking price, and some above asking. Many of the other area realtors had sales well below asking. That turned out to be a great strategy, because our home sold for 2.5% above our asking price and sold quickly! Every step of our sale was outstanding. The listing description he wrote was really nice and well written. The photos of our property were just outstanding and well lit, and included aerial drone photos that really showed off our location. Communication was great, he kept us informed of everything that was happening and every showing, and was very quick in responding to emails and text messages. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and highly recommend Howe Allen Realty.

When I first began my search for my home on West Island, Howe was the person to see! He knows the area better than anyone I know. We met a few times at the same home on the island during open houses. Each time I fell more in love with the home and its location. I ended up purchasing it through Howe! Three and a half years later, I found myself interested in a home just down the street that Howe Allen Realty had listed. In less than 72 hours I put an offer on the new home, and Howe had not only listed my existing home, but had sold it within hours!! He and his staff are the absolute best at what they do! I highly recommend Howe and Howe Allen Realty for all your home selling/buying needs!

Howe Allen’s help was fantastic! I was selling a home for a relative decadent. I do not live in Fairhaven so selling the house was going to be a long distant affair. I was able to get the house cleaned out and ready for sale myself. Howe stopped by on many occasions to see how the clean out was going and gave many helpful hints and tips on getting the house ready for sale. Once I was done Howe took over with the sale of the house. The house is in a desirable section of Fairhaven and there were multiple offers on the house very quickly. The first offer fell through and we accepted another offer which was to proceed to closing. Howe set me up with a local attorney to help with the paperwork involved with closing so I would not have to travel to Fairhaven for the closing. Everything went very smoothly and the house was sold with no problems. Everyone I talked to from Howe’s team were always friendly, professional and genuinely interested in doing what was best for getting the house sold.
