Laurie has assisted us with decisions about our property including improvements, sale and purchases since 1999. Laurie sold our home at what we thought was a very reasonable price. She lives in Clearpoint area of Ventura and thus is very knowledgable about the properties in that area. She was always on top of things, easy to reach and deal with, caring and an excellent negotiator.

Laurie Rutledge was our agent who negotiated and closed a very complicated short sale transaction involving both first and second mortgage lenders. The initial sale fell through due to lack of decision by the second mortgage lender; but Laurie then proceeded to closing with the backup lender. This process took the better part of nine months, but Laurie was never discouraged and always was positive and encouraging to us. I don't believe many real estate agents would have persisted with this transaction and been able to accomplish it as did Laurie Rutledge.

We have consulted Laurie in the sometimes confusing and often technical processes leading to the listing of our present home and in our search for a somewhat smaller one. She knows what will sell, what is not worth doing and, equally important, those things we must do to move from our present situation to something a good deal more manageable.
