I had an awesome experience working with Steve Takata, an Austin based Realtor, on my home purchase near Austin, and I can’t recommend him enough! As a remote buyer, I was a bit nervous about navigating the market from afar, but his help and experience made everything much easier. Over several months, we checked out nearly 100 homes together, and his patience and dedication really impressed me. From the get-go, Steve took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. Steve’s knowledge of construction was very useful in avoiding some homes with serious issues, and his experience as an investor was super helpful. He kept us focused on what mattered for our purchase and did not waste time on other distractions. Even with the challenges of searching for homes remotely, Steve kept a positive vibe and was always there to answer my questions. I felt totally supported throughout the whole process, which made a huge difference. He was always quick to respond and made sure I had all the information I needed to make decisions. Plus, he has a fantastic team behind him that really made everything run smoothly. His recommendations for lenders, vendors, and handymen were all excellent. What I really appreciated was that Steve was low pressure but always available. He has also been available long after closing, continuing to check in and offer support, which shows how much he genuinely cares about his clients. We ultimately chose a home that backs up to a lake and tennis courts in a beautiful community in Georgetown. If you’re looking for a real estate agent in Austin who knows the city, understands the market, is dedicated, and genuinely cares about his clients—especially if you’re buying from a distance—Steve is the one. He went above and beyond, and was the best real estate agent we hoped for. I’m so grateful for his help! Steve helped me on the journey to purchasing my investment property.
