He recently was awarded the 2021 Denver Metro Assn of Realtors Realtor of the Year, and In 2015, he was chosen as the Douglas/Elbert County Realtor Associations Realtor of the Year. And in 2011, he received the distinction of Douglas County Living’s Reader’s Choice Castle Rock Realtor of the Year. In addition, he has been extremely involved in the Castle Rock community, receiving the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce’s nominee for Citizen of the year in 2010 and receiving the Ping Lee Jung Volunteer of the Year award in 2009.

Exemplary professional skills. Steve and his associate Julie helped make this transition as smooth as possible. Only one glitch right at closing, but had nothing to do with the Thayer Group. We love our house and the neighborhood as highly recommended by Steve. The Thayer Group answered all question expeditiously and helped us get this beautiful home.

Working with Steve was easy. He was responsive to our questions and concerns. This was a new home through Lokal Homes. He still follows up with after the sale. And he was the seller's agent! Great experience.

Steve did an amazing job helping my wife and I buy our first home in Castle Rock. He is professional, personable, and easy to get in touch with, and he has gone the extra mile for us both before and after the sale. He went out of his way to meet with us on a Sunday for our first introduction, and he was our sole point of contact throughout the whole process -- unlike other agents we met with, Steve didn't "hand us off" to another staff member after the first call.<br/><br/>We had a good idea of what we wanted in a home when we first met with Steve, but he helped us refine that list and found a wonderful home for us that hit everything on our checklist, was in our ideal neighborhood and was a perfect fit for our budget. He worked with us on a Sunday night to determine our offer and get it in quickly, which was a big factor in us beating a competitive bid that came in the next day. During the contract/closing process, Steve was very helpful and responsive and did a great job of navigating the few contractual hiccups that came up along the way. As a first-time homebuyer, it was comforting that I knew I could trust him to get the job done correctly and on time.<br/><br/>Steve also referred us to a mortgage broker and an interior decorator, both of whom did a wonderful job for us. His deep connections in the Castle Rock business community and willingness to help out make him a valuable resource far beyond buying or selling a home. Highly recommended!
