Thom has all of the qualities in a realtor that I was looking for. He is organized, communicative, transparent, and most importantly a real professional. I had to relocate for a job moving out of state and after speaking with a couple of Realtors I confidently moved forward with Thom. In our first meeting Thom was able to assess my home and my goals and come up with a plan that made sense to me and that I was comfortable with. As a first time home seller my home was not as high value as a lot of other listings that Thom works on. Not once did I feel like I was a lower priority for Thom which I really appreciated. The biggest challenge of buying or selling a home is closing and I could not ask for better representation than Thom. Marketing is a lot simpler these days as things have gone digital, but I was still impressed with Thom's marketing strategy and feel that he created a real buzz about my house which led to a strong open house. In the end we received multiple offers very soon after listing and I was pretty much worry free from that point forward confident that Thom would close the best offer which he did. Thom Betz helped my wife and I sell our Phoenixville borough home on day 1, which was the day of our open house, in February of 2014. By the time we went to bed that night, we had 2 competing offers and Thom helped us to determine the stronger offer based on buyer financing and other offer specifics (both were for full asking price). We subsequently recommended him to a friend living in Exton, PA and the story was much the same. Thom helped them price and sell their house at full asking within a week of their first showing.<br/><br/>We started working with Thom a few months in advance of actually listing our property and he helped us identify small things to address around our property and helped us identify the right price. I think price is crucial as you really have one shot to grab a buyer's attention and get them in the door. This part of the process was super helpful.<br/><br/>I would recommend Thom to anyone interested buying or selling a property as he's got years of experience and is a true professional. Unfortunately, we were moving out of the area as we would have asked his assistance finding a new home otherwise.
