I would like to highly recommend Andrew Smith as a buyers agent. He is very attentive and excellent follow up without being pushy. He has excellent knowledge of the area and insightfulness. Even though he was only selling a development lot to us he gave us as much attention as if he was going to sell us a half million dollar lot. He answered every email within 24 hours with most being responded to in just a few hours. Andrew is passionate about what he does and the territory he represents.

My wife and I ran into a bad agent today.... ....it was our first visit to Hampstead, NC., to earnestly begin our search for our retirement home. We had a meeting set with a ANDREW SMITH, broker for Coastal Realty... ...my first sign should have been, that he literally met us in the parking lot, by waving his arms, .... ....since there was NO SIGN on the grounds marking the name of his company, OR it's whereabouts. SO, he spent a lot of time telling us what he did, and how good he was at doing it, but before he took us out to view some new construction homes, he wanted us to sign a document that stated we would ONLY buy through him. I think he wanted a ROI on his time "UPFRONT." I refused to sign such an agreement, and we left his very sparsely furnished office....I don't think he realized that he lost a SALE. He seemed very in-experienced, and obviously he didn't know how to deal with customers OR realize when he had a SALE looking at him in the face. I would NOT recommend working with any person in this field, that wants to "lock you into" something, before you even know their abilities.

Andrew is incredible.He is anything but the stereotypical agent because he truly cares about his customers.Andrew is less interested in making the sale and more interested in making his clients happy.This is a rare attribute in this industry.I wholeheartedly endorse him.Fred Mariani
