Jonathan made the process of finding and purchasing our home a pleasant experience. He was patient (we looked at a lot of properties), knowledgeable (as newcomers to Hawaii, we learned a lot from him about North Kohala and Hamakua), intuitive and even entertaining.

Jonathan helped us find the perfect home on the Big Island. We live on Oahu and make many trips over to find our retirement home. Jonathan really simplified the search process and was great with the negotiation and closing process. Thank you again Jonathan!!

Jonathan helped us recently to purchase a property on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii. We are very pleased with his work and would not hesitate to choose him again. Jonathan has plenty of local knowledge of North Kohala (where we were looking to purchase) and is just all around nice guy, very easygoing, yet diligent about every tiny detail of the deal. He was very proactive in his communication, clear and punctual, which was important to us, since we did not have a lot of time on the Island. Jonathan also has a wealth of experience in construction business, so he could answer any question on the matter. Jonathan was a delight to work with. He helped navigate the waters as we looked and found the perfect property for us. His negotiation skills and ability to provide reassurances and keeping everything on track helped tremendously. After the sale, he was most helpful in recommending local people to assist in finding mowers, builders, landscape designers, and introducing us to neighbors. What a plus! I started working with Jonathan after a couple poor experiences with a couple other agents. Over nearly a couple year period, Jonathan continued to follow up and send me leads. In fact we even made an offer on a property that was not accepted. I was thinking Jonathan was perhaps thinking I was just a tire kicker...but he kept on sending me properties to consider. Then the "one" came up. It was a back and forth tussle. Jonathan was very creative in putting forth an offer that was acceptable to the sellers. I had just about given up hope that any deal would be put together and I was not prepared to go a penny higher than what I had offered. Jonathan was given the opportunity to visit face to face with the sellers and the listing agent and was very persuasive and the sellers accepted. Once escrow opened, Jonathan was right on top of the details, bending over backwards to accommodate my needs. I have purchased a number of other properties over the years and have dealt with over 20 agents during those transactions, and not one of them has come close to Jonathan in terms of my satisfaction of their service to me! I highly recommend Jonathan.
