My husband and I contacted Lisa Howitt by email and phone after reading a lot of good reviews online plus positive referrals of friends who also worked with her. Although she was on vacation, she promptly answered us. When we first met her, we knew she was the real deal. One on hand, she is very professional, but on the other hand she is helpful and supportive. She found the right buyers, and got us the bets price for our house. I can not thank her enough for her hard work and support during this process of selling/buying a house. It’s very challenging, but she made it really easy for us.

12 Months. 10 Offers. Can you imagine going through this without someone amazing? Lisa was fully available for showings and advice during all of this time. She knew the area well and many of the local realtors we met. She also alerted us to the issues around certain houses that we may have missed in our excitement to look at everything we could (no harm in looking!). She found power lines, closer than we would like highways, and asked more than once "Are you sure that's enough space?" When we FINALLY got to the final stages, she moved quickly with all of the processes and put us in contact with great people for Financing, Inspection and beyond. We are so incredibly happy with our new home, but sometimes on the weekends we kinda miss looking at houses with Lisa Howitt :-)

Lisa was super knowledgeable about the current Melrose real estate market, based on her personal involvement in sales of similar homes in our area. She was able to realistically predict the sales value of our home in a rapidly changing market. She devised a strategy to achieve maximum value. The professional photos and video that she arranged were exceptional and really showcased our home in the best possible way. She provided assistance in lining up contractors to optimize the curb appeal. She was flexible to work with, and always responded to our questions in a timely manner. Once an offer was received, and accepted, she continued to provide valuable support. Lisa helped to make the process of selling our home of 32 years less daunting. My husband and I both highly recommend her.

Working with Lisa was great! She had flexible hours and was responsive to any and all questions we had. She helped make the process fast and provided key knowledge on the specific properties we were looking at. She also provided us with all the contacts we needed for inspections and quotes. If it wasn't for Lisa, I don't think we would have our home right now.
