We recommend you hire Matthew Hien Wu as your real estate agent. When we sold our home in Fountain Valley in 2017, Matthew knew every step in the process and guided us smoothly through each of them as they came up. Preparing our home for sale after living in it for 21 years was a big surprise for us. Buyers today have all seen TV shows that make them think every house they look at is going to be perfect. Matt knew which parts of the house to focus on, and laid out an accurate budget for the various options. He has long-standing relationships with roofers, painters, drywallers, electricians and landscapers who he can call on to do honest work at fair prices. He saved us a lot of money before we even put our home on the market. When we decided to tackle one little last-minute project ourselves, Matt even showed up on a Friday evening with his own tools and pitched right in! He held Open Houses on consecutive weekends which hundreds of people attended. Part of how he made that happen was his deft use of Real Estate websites and social media to make sure that the maximum number of people knew the first day the house was going on the market. And Matthew doggedly represented our interests with the buyers as we negotiated our way through the sales process - again saving us money that we didn't know we could. Finally, we would like to say that, even beyond all of his skills as a real estate agent, Matthew's best quality is his integrity. He is as honest and professional as he is friendly. We had to keep our commitment to move to another state before the escrow process ended. Matt (and our wonderful Fountain Valley neighbors!) kept a close eye on our empty house.
